Just got these today in the mail, size XL, and immediately put a pair on the back paws of our elderly Corgi who is unable to stay steady on his hind legs.They fit well I could possibly go down to a large but knew I wanted a little bit bigger because of how my Corgies feet drag under him and glad I did go bigger for now. He was sliding uncontrollably with his back legs splaying out from underneath him every time he moved around. Vet said his X-rays showed no hip or leg issues so just his age and the fact we have hardwood floors. We got some washable rugs to put all over the floors but even on those he was slipping and falling. We purchased slip on booties- fail, slip on no slip socks-fail. I saw these and decided to try them. He was immediately walking more sturdy and when eating/drinking his feet weren’t slipping away. He doesn’t seem to mind them at all and is walking around more than usual. He doesn’t seem fall down a couple times from the hip falling to one side but I’m hoping as he wears them some strength builds back up. They are pricey but since he only needs them on his back paws the package should get us through a month at minimum I’m thinking. For $1.00 a day knowing we can provide a safer and more active days it’s worth it. He has been outside several times on the grass and dirt and so far the pair he has on are still sticking to his feet. I didn’t even do the wash feet yet as I just wanted to see if we found a possible solution to help him and it looks like we did. I will update when we use up the 48 pads as to any concerns/issues we encounter and any benefits long term we find, but for now I think we found a winner for our pup. I did research these and found an important note to share to avoid health issues, if you have a dog that chews everything it sees these can pose a health risk for choking or obstruction so keep that in mind when determining if these are a possible good fit for your dog.

I bought these for my 14 year old lab who was having trouble with her back legs. I cut them apart to only cover each toe and the pad. They stay on for 2-3 days. I only replace what fell off. No damage to her skin at all. She can get up off the smooth floor now and walks with greater confidence. I only use them on her rear paws and she is doing well. She’ll never run like a young dog but she can get around. With only doing her rear paws, the package will last for months. I’m very happy with this solution for her.

There were very hard to take off, it hurt my senior chihuahuas paw in removing after 2 days, I followed instructions on wetting to remove and I did so for a while and toke a while to budge. Not willing to hurt my dog in the removal process.

These grip pads fit my dog well and helped him get around in his older years. They are easy to use - just peel and stick on your dog’s paws. The downside is they don’t stay on for long, a couple of days maximum, sometimes only a few hours. There are a lot in the package so it’s easy to replace if one falls off.

They initially adhere well to the pets Paws but they do not last more than 10 minutes the dog walking on them before they come off. It is this way even if you clean the Paw and apply them appropriately. All that said it's better than the nothing that she had on her paws before and it does help until they fall off. The packaging said to contact the seller if you have any problems which I attempted to do and their phone number is disconnected. Also I sent a message through Amazon as instructed in the package contents for any problems to the seller and have not received a reply

What I liked: The idea is good. Paws tend to slide on hardwood, and these pads looked promising. The material is reasonably soft and seems non-toxic from a glance. What was wrong: Size chart failure. Even following the seller’s size chart exactly, the pads are too small. My dog is within the XL range (41-60 lbs), but the “XL” pieces barely cover enough surface to make much contact. Poor adhesion. They don’t stick well. I cleaned and dried the paws as instructed, pressed them on, waited — same deal: they peel off after a little walking. Not worth the trouble. Between trying to get the right fit, applying them, and constantly reattaching, it just adds up. The promised benefit (better traction, less slipping) is not delivered enough to justify the frustration. Bottom line: Might be okay for very light use or very small, calm dogs. But for anything more active or larger, it’s just not doing the job. I regret buying it.

(Update at bottom) With no carpet in my home and two labradors (one senior and one young) the demand for something to help with slipping really hit me every time I saw my old boy slipping, and my baby girl slouching when sitting because she can’t get a grip on the floor. At first, neither of them were particular fans of having stickers on their feet. But for two dogs who can’t keep ANYTHING on themselves without throwing a fit, I’m impressed! Almost immediately they realized that they could run around without slipping, and seemed happier. Tug of war, their favorite game, is no longer a game of slip and slide. My girl actually sits like a normal dog, an my old boy seems to appreciate being able to walk and run without sliding. I will absolutely be a returning customer! Thank goodness they have the same size feet too. Will update regarding durability. Trigger review words: good quality, great for senior health, definitely measure your dogs feet because going by weight isn’t necessarily accurate (I sized down after measuring), thickness seems good, “value for money” is worth it Update two weeks later: I tried what other reviews recommended and cut the pads individually as an experiment. Personally I do not recommend doing that. Leaving the stickers as they were designed seems best for me. They stay on longer (one day for cut stickers, three for normal). My dogs have free rein indoors and out with a doggy door so I was interested in how these worked outdoors and I was impressed. Some reviews say they lasted a week, but three days seem to be my max. I’ll definitely still buy them again for my old boy.
