We used this air mattress for the first time last night. I have had air beds in the past that were only about six to eight inches high. They seemed to puncture easily and when sleeping on them you could wake up the next morning practically on the floor. It was quite a procedure to inflate them, and deflating them was very frustrating trying to get all the air out so they would fold up neatly. This air bed is quite different. It is so easy to inflate. I had tested it out a few days ago after it arrived, inflating and deflating it. Last night my 16-year-old grandson slept on it. It seemed to be the same fullness this morning as when it was inflated last night. He said it was comfortable, like a regular bed. I bought the larger height bed, and it is about the same height as a regular bed, which makes it so much easier to get in and out of, especially if you're over the age of 16. It is extremely easy and fast to inflate and deflate. The deflation gets every last bit of air out, so it folds up very compactly and fits easily into the carry bag. The only unkown at this point is the durability. I gave it five stars for that just based on my overall satisfaction with it. There is a patch that is provided. It does seem to be pretty durable material just from my handling of it. I would recommend inflating it and letting it air out for at least 24 hours prior to use to get rid of the plastic-like odor, which is not overpowering even right out of the package. It really does not retain the odor for long, and my grandson never mentioned anything about an odor. I would definitely recommend this air bed. ... show more

Our daughter set up her office as a guest room with this air mattress. We used it for a week, and it sleeps very well. My only reason for 1-star off is that the surface of the air mattress is uncomfortable to lay on with only a sheet covering it. So I ordered a mattress pad, and viola, we slept like babies! So that would be my advice. Otherwise, this bed held air well, and even when it needed a little refill, it was fast. We were very comfortable. And it was a great price too! ... show more

I love the built in pump…..it doesn’t take long to inflate. The top feels nice and soft to the touch. I use this in my spare room and leave it inflated so far it’s kept all the air that I put in it! Nice to wake up on top of the mattress and not on the floor due to it losing air during the night. Great value and very easy to use. This mattress is seriously the best that I have ever come across and I highly recommend it. I inflated it and three of my friends slept on it for one night. I left it inflated when I went on a week long trip and I came back and it was still fully inflated! No leakage whatsoever. I did not have to re-inflate it at all and those three friends slept on it again so comfortably. It is so comfortable, unlike any air mattress I have ever slept on. It was 100% worth the money. It was so easy to inflate, deflate and fold up, an 8 year old could do it. It folds up really small and it’s really easy to store. It even comes with leak patches in case a hole occurs.
