Bomb proof suspension link. Don’t listen to the less experienced reviews. It’s a good thing that there is that much “meat” in the rod ends. Personally I’ve resolved this in one of three ways (depending on whats available for tooling). You can 1=*highly recommend doing this first* Use a M4x 0.7 tapered tap and cut threads about 6mm into the rod the. This will make starting the rod a snap. Once you have those threads started you can use the rod to cut into the remaining bore of the rod end. 2-NOTE=WEAR LEATHER GLOVES or use some pliers to handle the link/rod! Carefully heat the end of the rod over a medium flame on your range/stove for about 15 seconds and thread it in the rod end while holding medium pressure on the rod+thread about a 1/8 inch then unthread+let cool and finish threading the rod end. This works pretty good when you are at the track and need to thread a new link. Just find a lighter. 3=hold serious pressure on the rod head and push and turn it until it gets a bite and threads the rod head on the link. These methods have served me well for the past 33 years. Rod ends do not like to thread on so I had to buy a whole other set from a different company only for two of the links to snap off at the threads on my first run. Don’t waste your money on these, they’re terrible.
