Hey this item has been working great for me in San Diego. I hit limits multiple times and the nets are great, because the seals cant get into them. On other traps my bait slides out the bait box, but the nets hold everything in place. If you live near high currents you can always add additional weights to the bottom.

I sent these traps to my Brother as a gift. He called to thank me and tell me he was very impressed by the quality and sturdiness of them. I needed to write this review to apologize to the seller for writing a seller feedback note telling them my brother did not receive the ropes or other accessories shown on the description of the product. He did not know they were supposed to be there. Two weeks later my brother called and said when he broke down the shipping box he found the ropes and accessories. I was not able to write another seller feedback, I guess you only get one. So again my apologies to the seller. D.D.

It's a must for crabbers beginners to pro. Buy this instead of other brand and style and you won't regret trust me. Also pair this with a big buoy to make it more visible at night and foggy days.

While these crab nets seem to be well made, I did not receive all of the items listed as it was missing the two 15 meter ropes. I also expected them to be heavier as it says in the description that they weigh 13.2lb, but in fact they each weigh right at 6 pounds. So I will have to add weights in anything but flat calm conditions. Apparently, when it says 13.2 pounds that is for both combined. I am sure they will work ok for a small net, but in the future I will pay a little more for the Promar Ambush XL's, as I think they are a better value than these.
