Quaker State 10W-30 conventional motor oil helps engines survive daily commutes from high-speed highway operation to repetitive, stop-and-go driving. It maintains the required viscosity from start to finish, providing optimal protection. Quaker State Motor Oil combats engine sludge and deposits, providing rust protection from harmful acids generated by engine contaminants. It reduces engine wear, providing durable wear protection. Quaker State 10W-30 Motor Oil meets or exceeds the following OEM requirements: Chrysler MS-6395; GM 6094M. It exceeds the requirements of the following industry specifications: API SP and all previous categories; ILSAC GF-6a and all previous ILSAC standards. When I got this in summer of 2018 it was a great price. less than $14.00 for the 5qt jug. Disappointed to see it has skyrocketed to over double that price now. I am using it for hydrostatic transmission oil in my Hustler Zero turn mower and didn't want to spend an arm and a leg for 20W-50 oil for that application as it would not be subject to a lot of heat like it would be in an engine oil application. Ina coupe years when it's time to drain and replace the fluid again, we'll have to see what price this is selling for at that time. QS has always been a quality product.
