YUM! Dense and crunchy but easy on teeth. Softens up in milk, but not soggy. Sweet but not too sweet (9 grams added sugar). Good amount of fiber(5 grams) and protein (6 grams); the latter will vary depending on what kind of milk you use. I dont rate on price, but I will let you know what I acquired it for. I bought the 3 pk of Quaker Oatmeal Squares (brown sugar) for $8.53, which I thought was a reasonable price (11/2022) compared to regular (and in stores). I basically bought it to have food on my shelves, but also because I tend to like stuff like this. I dont often buy cereal because I kind of binge on it, but once in awhile I will get some. Something about a bowl of cereal can really hit the spot. Not so much for breakfast but as a snack, dessert, or lunch or dinner. But for breakfast? never! lol Anyway, this was an impulse purchase motivated by price. I'd buy it again. ... show more

Love this cereal but the price is way to high in my store. So I looked on Amazon and it was $2 + cheaper a box then my store when buying 3 boxes from Amazon. Just hope Amazon keeps the price down so I can get more. Sure wish Quaker would bring the maple favor back it was the best cereal out there.

Quaker oatmeal squares are the best cereal you can get, to be quite frank. And let me tell you exactly why. And after I do, all your beliefs about other cereals you thought were good, you will realize how mistaken you were. You'll be sad for a little bit, maybe even a little angry. But you'll get over it, because sometimes you have to accept youre wrong and move on to better opinions. First of all, it's a tasty cereal, and its not super unhealthy, which is already a rarity. Second, and most importantly, it doesn't get soggy and inedible after like 2 minutes of sitting in milk, like every other cereal. You could even leave it for 10, 15 minutes, take an phone call or whatever, come back and its still delicious and not soggy at all. This flexibility alone puts it head and shoulders above most other cereals, which turn into inedible mush by that time, and therefore demand your full undivided attention to eat entirely in a short window of like a couple minutes between when the milk hasn't soaked in, and when it becomes mush. With Quaker oatmeal squares you can make a bowl of cereal and eat it at as leisurely of a pace as you please, and that my friends is truly a luxury. And on top of that it tastes delicious, it's relatively filling, and its really fairly healthy by cereal average standards. ... show more
