Switch is a perfect replacement for the original switch. It takes 2 minutes switch out the old for the new. You can see the difference in the two lights in this photo. The original in the back has a very dim blue bulb that’s easy to miss. The new switch makes it very easy to see if the warming plate is on or off. ITEM: QTEATAK KCD1 On/Off 3-Pin 2-Position Snap 10A/125V, 6A/250V Red LED Round Boat Rocker. Pro: Delivered in 1day, price great. Con: several reviewers replaced their Mr. Coffee SK13 machine's on-off switch, which actually is this switch. I too had a Mr. Coffee SK13 where this switch died. Therefore, it's great that $8 will get 5 of these. I tested all 5 when they came yesterday, and all five worked. It came as a surprise to discover that the switch's brass terminal is a "dead" one that is not connected/switched to either of the other two, steel, terminals, and I have no idea why the Mr. Coffee wiring has a white wire connected to this brass terminal. Pro: Anyway, this switch is the actual replacement; all's well now (or until the switch fails), and I'm HAPPY. ... show more

Used to wire in a bedside light into my side tables and it worked great for this application. Coming with wires attached made this job that much easier. Added some quick connects to the ends of the wires to make the connection under the table and out of sight.

This switch matched exactly the old switch that stopped working. Now my rather inexpensive coffee maker is working again. It was a very simple fix. Make sure the electrical contacts fit tight on the switch lugs. A loose connection can cause excessive heat and can cause the new switch to fail.
