I use this backpack for carrying my brick-size KX3 ham radio transceiver, PAC-12 vertical antenna system, lithium batteries, coax cable etc. I go into local forests 2-3 times a week as part of the international “Parks On The Air” program. The various pockets and pouches this bag offers are amazing. It enables me to organize my kit so I don’t forget anything. It’s very comfortable. There’s plenty of room for a bagel sandwich. This thing is exactly as tough and durable as I expected of a tactical backpack. I bought this because the straps on my old backpack had the padding wear out and the straps on this are comfortable, the extra buckles actually help redistribute the weight and make carrying a lot of weight more comfortable. I literally loaded metal weights inside put some padding inside so i wouldnt feel them on my back and carried 50lbs hiking no problem. lots of pockets is nice for keeping things organized. the only Issue I had was that there are no pockets on the sides where I would normally keep a beverage bottle. That is on me though, I should have expected that because these types of bags are usually meant to keep a water bladder inside so I wouldn't fault them for that. waterproof lining inside.
