As spring winds up into warmer weather and the lake starts thinking about warming up, I inflated this thing on my patio to test it, and found it's working pretty fantastically as a daybed. I put a blanket below it to protect it from pebbles, and another on top of it to keep it from overheating in the sun (and also from my dog's claws) and have been chilling on it in between meetings. My favorite feature is definitely the graduated head and backrest. THAT is everything. If it were perfectly flat, there's nothing special about this. But being able to sit upright and lounge properly, that is The Way. The plastic is medium tough. Not like, floating-dock or paddleboard tough. And not kid's seahorse ring inflatable, but somewhere in between, like four-person plastic pool resilient. Smells like they all do. Inflates fast with an electric pump (get an electric pump, you're better than locking your lips around plastic and breathing into and out of it—the news on that ain't good!). And yeah, you bet I'm gonna fill it up with water when it starts super-heating in August in September. We aren't made for 95 degree weather in the upper left regions! ... show more

This is a high quality item. It came with detailed instructions and two patches with instructions for how to apply those as well if ever needed. I didn’t have a pump to inflate it so had to do it manually. It took a while with a few breaks but it was possible. The pillow is incredibly comfortable. I literally couldn't ask for more when it comes to a float. This is the perfect thing to take with you on trips to any lazy river, pool or even beach. It is quite comfortable and even has a removable pillow to help support your head. I mostly use it on the beach to keep my body off the sand. If you are using it in the water, a very nice feature is the littel rope/line that goes around the sides. This makes it easy to grab onto to help pull yourself up. This thing is amazing! Can be used to tan in, can add water inside it to stay cool while tanning, or use it as a float! I used an electric pump so it’s easy to inflate and deflate as needed. I’m petite and there’s more than enough room for not only me but my waterproof bag as well! It seems to be well made and will hopefully last me a couple of years at least! I got this because my daughter likes to lay out in the sun and gets very hot in the Florida weather. Add a little water to this and you’re good to go. Blew up very easily. Has a pillow that is separate from the float so you can use it if you want or not. Also has cupholders which come in handy on those hot days. It’s a nice size so even if you’re 6 foot tall, you can still comfortably lay in it. ... show more
