I waited until I shipped my package to see how it arrived before I posted this review. I ordered my sister, in another state, some different flavor coated pecans- a pound bag each of strawberry coated, key lime, peach and orange. I did not want them to get hot because the flavor coating would melt. And I didn’t want to use dry ice or these cold packs because I’ve heard about them tearing or melting. So I took a chance on ordering these. Then, I wasn’t gonna pay overnight shipping because FEDEX was going to charge $160. So, I just paid for 2- day shipping. Still, I was afraid that because of the heat outside and traveling in hot Fedex trucks that they would melt inside their packages and just be a big blob stuck together. I shipped them Monday morning and they did not arrive to her until tonight (Wednesday night), 3 states away. All day I was tracking it and panicked thinking they’re gonna be so hot and melted because it was taking all day to deliver. She was the last stop of the day after 8:00 PM tonight. She just got them a little while ago and said they were not stuck together at all! She said they were in perfect condition, not even warm, much less hot! Now, I am a huge huge believer in this product and if I ever have to ship anything to prevent it from getting too hot or even too cold, I’m ordering this again! The insulated box and the little insulated bag that comes with it was an absolute perfect fit for 4, 1 pound bags of pecans and it really did what it said it was going to do it protected them from getting hot! I’m SOLD! 100%
