Very compact, which was perfect for our use. We needed a place for drinks next to a sofa in a very small space. Tables look good, and are sturdy. They are a bit tippy due to the narrow base, but next to the sofa it is not a concern. Putting them together was very easy.

The top is not real wood, it’s like a melamine or Formica, and that’s exactly what I want so I don’t have to worry about my drink sweating or taking care of the wood. I was wanting the golden brown in the product images, but it is a driftwood color. Otherwise, the product is good. Easy to put together, but the metal parts can be dented and marked if they twist together (be sure to hold the metal pieces still and only turn the screw). Sturdy enough for a drink and a book as in the product images, and I'm sure it could hold a dinner plate (but I wouldn't cut tough food on it). Balanced and strong enough to be dragged around as needed, but I wouldn't rest my elbows on it or place anything heavy on it. I do wish it was just a little bit larger, but for the price it will work just fine for me. ... show more

    • Great tables but has an off gassing odor

This little table is just what I was looking for to provide space for drinks when sitting on our sectional that the pups can't get into. We have an ottoman reather than a coffee table. The wood color is exactly as pictured and they slide under the couch perfectly. I don't have a rug under, but they do have "feet" that could get caught on the rug. This is part of why I liked these though. I didn't want the metal sitting right on the floor. They are lightweight and assembly was very easy. My only issue is the off gassing odor.
