I've tested these ones and stock ones and several others from several other vendors and all the ohm's readings and all the voltage readings or all the same and are all built by the same manufacturer don't fall for the this is an upgraded version of it is bull pooop

Much better quality the. The stock one. A bit bigger but fits just fine. And the plug wire won’t melt like the stock one did

For the money I thought it would be great. The coil itself was defective would not transfer the spark from the spark plug to the engine. Wires were hooked up correctly but were a loose fit to the connectors. Tried to apply pressure with my hand and the wire connector broke.

The magneto was of better quality, it ends there. The spark plug coming off the CDI didn't fit the spark plug that came with the kit! I had to cut the wire and put the stock plug housing onto the new spark plug wire. So I doubt the promises of more spark, as the housing contains a small aluminum hole with nail sodered through it (see picture, the housing in kit they offer is red.) Save yourself the money and just buy a magneto elsewhere as this CDI is useless, unless modified.

cdi box came with black boot not the red the coil was a good one so not a total loss.
