I bought this for use in my Garage/Gym. I hooked some 20 year old Bose Model 141 Stereo Bookshelf Speakers to a non-powered Bose Acoustimass 3 Series IV Subwoofer that I dug out of storage to it and they sound really clean inside of the approx.. 3,366 ft³ space (standard 2-car Garage). Cranking the volume over 20 on some FM stations and Music apps will cause distortion on my particular setup. This thing packs a punch and I can only imagine what it would sound like with a better speaker setup. No assembly required aside from attaching the AM/FM and Bluetooth Antennas. I have only used the Radio Tuner and Bluetooth Streaming functions so I cannot comment on anything else. The FM Tuner sounds great. The supplied Antenna is adequate but the Channel Selector seems to get stuck or backtrack when trying to change Stations., frustrating but not awful. The Bluetooth sounds even better and after the first time pairing it connects to the last device used in a second after powering on or after switching to Bluetooth mode and surprisingly I have gone over 50 feet away with 2 walls in between without losing Bluetooth signal. It disconnects and reconnects when you take a call. The Remote is fairly user friendly, seems well built but it has to have a direct line of site to work. Mine is sitting on a shelf/rack like 6 ft. off the ground so we have to raise our arms up high to use the remote from a distance. I do think it needs a Subwoofer Output and an Adjustable Equalizer and not just a handful of presets as well as a few other things. Also if you leave it in Sleep Mode there is still loud air noise coming from the Speakers and if you turn it off on the unit itself it does not remember the Mode you were in and defaults to Auxiliary. In Sleep Mode turning it on with the Remote it remembers the previous Mode. Even so I'd probably buy it again just because of the price point. ... show more

This would have worked fine if it had 2 RCA Jacks but no less save 50 cents. BT would not connect to my TV or I could have made it work with some RCA hook-up. Yes I need it to have a certain wat factor and I looked for days and must have bought the only brand with no RCA jacks or with a bad Bluetooth and the Bluetooth would not have been that big of a deal if it only would have just 1set of RCA jacks but now because no RCA's no BT it has to go back. ... show more

For the price it is not a bad machine but be aware that the remote does not work beyond about 10 feet. Closer it works fine but I want it to work over about 24 feet.

I needed a sound system for my Ghostbuster themed vehicle. This is perfect because not only is it 12 volt but it's also 110 volt in case I need to take it indoors and use it. I opted to put waterproof round speakers in where my fog lights would go if I had them. The Bluetooth feature from the unit to my phone works fantastic. Thank you so much.     • Great small POWERFUL unit, a few quirks that you can work thru. Have patience - instructions poor
It was pretty easy to set up, once you get through the quirks. The FM antenna worked fine for me with the unit channel scan grabbing 45 stations, 25 of which are strong in outlying area 25 mi from metro New Orleans. Bluetooth connectivity pairing is easy and works great. Love the sound quality, but the EQ choices are preset and it would be better to have bass and treble controls I believe. Not bad though. The instructions leave a lot to be desired. Suggest Pyle get a technical writer to use the product and review and rewrite the manual. The >II button on the remote, when pressed, will put you into a scan mode to find channels when in FM mode. That is ok for first setup, but after that, if you press it again, it will go thru another station scan! Same goes for that button on the unit! Once you know that, if you leave that button alone in FM, you won't start another scan which may get a new station line-up with different numbers for stations due to local signal strength in your area at that moment in time. I prefer to know the station line up so I can enter its number next time I use the unit, and don't want to change the assigned number for each station. I write the station ID vs assigned number on a card so I can access the desired station by entering its number on the remote (e.g., no 24 is 99.5FM) at any time. If you want to access lower stations one by one use I<< button, and for higher stations use >>I button. The remote needs to be closer than 7 ft for it to operate on my unit. The sound output is nothing short of HIGH Power, but AUX knob on the unit (no.9 in the booklet) can be used to decrease and increase the base power output level (the power level LED's will light up as power is increased). If you have flimsy speakers, watch it - you might blow a cone! Once you set a power level on the unit, the remote volume buttons (no. 4 in booklet) will "trim" the volume up and down from the power level you have set on the unit (no. 6 in booklet). Just watch the LED's. Overall, a very impressive and clean sounding little unit. I would (and have) suggested this unit to others! Small package, but BIG sound! ... show more

    • Great amplifier for karaoke
The PDA69BU Pyle amplifier is perfect for my karaoke setup. While the karaoke words are being played on my home theater screen, up to two persons can sing with the two microphones attached to the Pyle. I have two small 8 ohm speakers attached to the Pyle. The 300 watts is powerful enough to provide good clear sound. The ability to add delay and reverb is a plus. I will not be using the other features of FM tuner and/or adding accessories. ... show more
