I bought this for my 7yo grandson. I unboxed for a check to make sure all was ok with it, not to play it myself of course.🙂. Cool looking keyboard it seems ok for the money. It's silly to expect more than a beginner, entry level keyboard at this price. All functions work, different tones, sort of. All sounds are very close to the same but, it sounds good, very loud. It's rechargable, the best part. (Battery prices) It's got a sustain handle/pedal for rockin out i assume! A strap so you can walk around and rock out looking cool. Several of the typical Keyboard, cheesy beats! You can record songs you write and play them back, I did not test that. .. all in all I think it's a great keyboard and my grandson is gonna love it. Cute little lightweight 37 key USB Rechargable keyboard that doubles as a keytar with the included strap. Also has a little microphone and aux out cord, headphone jack, and built-in speakers. This isn't a high-end keyboard, but perfect for any beginner, or anyone that wants a quick keyboard to grab to practice on, or while working with other instruments and just want to get a quick pitch check. There's a lot of surprising features on this including a huge variety of sounds, rhythms, presets, a sustain and pitch bend, and a bunch of other goodies!! We have gotten a lot of use for it, by just having a smaller more portable keyboard close to the computer that didn't take up a lot of room and was quick to grab!! It's actually a pretty sturdy piece and held together with screws, not glued. We are very happy with it for what it is!! ... show more

    • Great little keytar for my kiddo!
My eight year old son is thrilled with his Pyle keytar even with time on our more expensive Yamaha keyboards for comparison, and that makes me happy. He likes the piano and other instrument voices like saxophone that he can play with the keys, and he makes use of the pre-programmed tracks and tiny microphone to compliment what he plays. The auxiliary input will let him play along to anything of course. I plan to outfit it with a 3.5mm Bluetooth adapter so he can do so wirelessly. The rechargeable battery is a big plus. My only recommendation would be that Pyle consider adding some octave shift buttons to the grip / "fret board" to make use of his other hand and give the keys more range; but my son doesn't notice, and who really cares given the price for the keytar as it is. Great birthday gift!! My sister purchased this digital keyboard for my 7yo son and he loves it. I love that it’s cordless so no cords to trip over as he plays his concert throughout the house. I also like that there’s a play along option that includes a plug in microphone. He really loves that it’s the same digital keyboard that was featured in one of the Despicable Me movies. He plays along with the movie! The speaker quality is great and the volume is adjustable. The strap is detachable but we keep it on until he can handle the coordination without dropping it. There are 50 different demos that are included which provides endless hours of fun for all. ... show more
