I have now played 5 rounds of golf using my new PXG 0311 Black Ops driver. First, it's a really good looking club with a black head with minimal markings and a nice blue shaft. It has a nice grip and a great head cover that is magnetic and can be stuck to your putter or other iron while you are using it. For me, it is just as forgiving on off center hits as my former driver made by a big name company. Yesterday I was able to get several "on the money" strikes off the tee box and I can say that I am getting at least five more yards with this club. I think that PXG will get to be a better known brand in the future.

I am a high handicapper senior with a year and a half of golf under my belt. If you told me a different driver could add 30 yards to my drive, I would have been very skeptical. I am very driven to improve my game, spending probably too much time at Top Tracer facilities to see what my clubs can do, and what I need to improve upon. I was gifted a PXG driver last year and it was a game changer. After taking a few lessons to help with my slice, I really began to appreciate the club; I didn’t need the computer to see the additional distance I gained on the course. So when the Black Ops line came out I couldn’t resist. My drives now with this new line are more consistent, and I actually gained some additional yardage. If you have an opportunity to try a PXG driver, I recommend you do: the entire system works; the feel of the grip, the look and performance of both the head and shaft and that very satisfying sound on impact.

I've always tried a variety of drivers looking for the one that could be "the one". The PXG 0311 Black Ops Driver is very close to being that club. It has great looks, sits nicely at address, is balanced and gets good distance. It is not as forgiving for off-center hits and the trajectory is more mid-height vs high than my previous driver and the balance and set up is slightly different as well. It didn't take much time to get used to though. It has an EvenFlow Riptide CB 5.0 40g shaft. I like the Mitsubishi MMT on my hybrid but think the EvenFlow is not as stiff and actually feels better. I will be going to a PBX store to get fitted and see if there might be a better shaft for me as I think that might be one that offers some better control. Otherwise this is a great driver. The Black Ops magnetic headcover is with the dark grey lettering is very appealing.

The club I ordered is a Senior Flex, 10.5 degree loft, graphite shaft. This review is offered with the help of my wife, the real golfer in the family. She's an avid golfer and has played since childhood. This club with its handsome blue wave graphics is very forgiving and enables straighter drives, with less effort. This club, especially the head, reflects the latest design in driver technology. Advanced golfers can use this club with ease to achieve longer distance off the tee. The grip is comfortable and effective. The adjustable loft features is a big advantage to tailor the driver to your personal swing. The driver does include a PXG wrench for your convenience. I recommend this driver as it performs right up there with any other brand. I'm thrilled to add this top performing driver to my bag.

I love this driver - not only is it forgiving with a big sweet spot but I am getting some of the longest drives I have ever had with this driver. It feels so good in the hand and makes a beautiful ping sound when you hit it flush. Excellent driver, big fan of PXG and this Black Ops 311 is the best of the bunch. 5 Stars.

I took this PXG Black Ops driver out to the driving range today and was able to get an additional 10 to 20 yards of distance when compared with the driver I’m currently using. This club is very forgiving on drives, resulting in more accurate placement even with slight mishits.

I bought a senior club with a graphite shaft. I like the feel of the driver. It is allowing me to hit the ball harder and more accurately than my older driver.
