The sheets actually smelled awful. Like sun dried vinegar. I wrote to the seller to request a return label and told them about my issue and they still wanted me to pay for return shipping. Don't waste your time or money.

I just bought a new purple mattress and the salesperson recommended purple sheets. So I turned to Amazon. The fitted sheet is very different, and I think odd, from other sheets I have used in the past. 1. The fitted sheet has a wrinkly, weird look to it. I am assuming because of the elastic stuff in them. 2. The fitted sheet is not very smooth or silky feeling like traditional sheets. 3. There is an odd seam that goes along the entire top edge where the fitted sheet goes over the side of the matress. I have never seen anything quite like that. The seam tends to get pulled up onto the top so I am laying toward the edge, I feel that seam. It is very deep so it goes all the way down on an 18 inch matress. The regular sheet and pillowcases fit and feel good. I will probably not buy again. I will stick with more traditional sheet sets. ... show more

These cotton sheets are not comfortable. The texture is coarse. I used them once and will probably give them away. They are not inexpensive sheets, made specifically to fit The Purple Mattress. Really like the mattress and the stretchy sheets that fit the mattress. I will stick to those from now on.
