When opening the package it looks a little overwhelming but once you get the first couple pieces together it's a walk in the park. I even had a cute little leaf design on one. However, I do have to say it's a little flimsy. I mean it's amazing for the price. Mine has been holding up really well but also a piece of the square paneling ripped a little. These cubes are sturdy and easy to assemble. It comes with a mallet, but I didn’t need to use it. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. These fit perfectly on my closet floor and hold all the clothes I had folded on my top shelf inside my closet. Now I have room for other things. This is perfect for clothes, kids’ toys, trinkets, etc. As long as the items aren’t heavy, this will work just fine for your needs. This was a really easy product to put together. The instructions were a little vague, but once I got the pattern down, I was able to finish without needing much guidance. Most of the panels lined up perfectly, but some are *just* barely out of line. I tried using the wooden mallet (included) and I tried using extra pressure when snapping the panels into place. While they did snap into place and are holding just fine, they're not perfectly level with the others. The panels were all very dirty/dusty when they arrived and some had dents in them, but they cleaned up easily. Overall, this was relatively worth the price I paid and I love how I can make different shapes to fit the areas in my room. It's made from a sturdy-ish vinyl and will be able to hold most books without trouble, but this should not be used for anything that needs to stay level without being rocked (like plants, lights, candles, etc.). I'm not entirely confident that each shelf/box can support 15 lbs as advertised, but again, this is a decent shelf for the price and the effort needed to put it together. EDIT: the company contacted me after my review and sent me a new shelf, free of charge. They were very prompt and clear with their communication. The replacement shelf arrived in about two days and is in fine condition. I'll leave my original review up, but I changed my stars from 3 to 5 to compliment them for their prompt and caring customer service. ... show more

I like how easy it is to put together, I don't really understand how people are struggling with the assembly. Maybe the instructions are a bit off-putting but it's really not that bad as some of the reviews on here made it out to be. I also appreciate the mallet??? But it's not necessary as I think our own human strength to push the circles in are a lot better than hitting it with the wooden mallet they sent us. If pressed enough, I would say it is quite sturdy for the time being. Haven't used it long at all to know but it seems good enough? My only issue with this was that I was missing two panels... And Amazon wanted me to return this in order to get a replacement, how fun. Kind of annoying as I had already piece this together so I didn't want to take it apart. THEN luckily for me I remembered I ordered another storage organizer before and that one had two extra panels (Super Convenient). The colors are mix-match because I got another brand and color, but you know what I'll take it. It's more of a hassle to go return an item and wait for a refund to re-order an item that I didn't make the mistake for. Next time I'll just buy from the other brand versus this one only because I didn't have an issue with them and saving 5 extra dollars isn't worth my time for the company's mistake. - In the picture the cube on the left side probably appears darker because the last two panels I used from my other extras are black, but on the right side is the one I ordered from here. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I needed to replace a bookshelf that couldn’t hold all the books I had. I wasn’t sure how big it would actually be, but I took a chance on it because of the price & I’m happy I did! My first pic is it’s size compared to my TV & entertainment center. My original bookcase was the same height & as deep as the 3 tiered row, so I essentially doubled my storage. I was worried about it handling my heavier books (as I have many) & it holds up well! My second pic is the row where all of my biggest books are, barely any dip! I was surprised because the material seemed thin (& like someone else said, mine was a little dirty/dusty too, but easy to wipe off), but so far so good. Love that it’s customizable, and it wasn’t as hard as I thought to get the stair-step design. It took me almost an hour & a half, but I was setting it up while in my online class so I’m sure it’ll be faster for others. Took a bit of working to figure out how to slide the corner brackets (fyi: the sides go in the slit BEHIND the cross shaped slits!). Instructions weren’t super detailed, but once you get it it’s fairly simple. I actually ended up using the mallet a couple times because I wanted to make sure they were all the way in the brackets to maximize it’s use life. ... show more
