I ran them through the rinse cycle of my washer to get out any presevatives. I put them in dryer. They came out wrinkled . I hope after a few more washes they won't be loud and crunchy sounding and less wrinkled They do have wide exposed elastic all around the bottom. Fabric seems good . The deep pocket sheets could be a little bit more deep. The bottom sheet fits but just barely. Otherwise I really like these sheets. Itโ€™s a great quality and the material feels good.

These are crispy and crinkly, perfectly percale. Just the way I like them and grew up with my grandma b. in the Depression. And they easily cool. I can move my feet around to a cool spot anytime or open the covers for a minute, and voila', cool sheets! They do need many washings to become less scratchy. I have a B0ll & Br@nch percale supima set that I also love which feels like a better, softer thread with the same crisp and cool hand. For those that don't like the wrinkly feature (because these are very wrinkly when they're young), I use one of two tricks. I either pull them out slightly damp and put straight on the bed. Or I jput the dryer on Wrinkle Guard setting and ensure I hang them over a door for 15-30 mins or so while I do other laundry or chores Then fold using the hand smoothing technique. I've purchased sheets and many sets of pillowcases, and I'll keep doing do after countless hours sleuthing for rose pink percale until I found these. I only wish they'd offer a true supima percale and offer replacement pieces on Amazon instead of all sets. These are great value with the better green friendly production promises vs others I found! I love percale sheets and am beginning to believe that I will never find the smooth, permanent press percale sheets of my youth that used to be so widely available without spending an arm and a leg. That being said - we like those sheets well enough. They are very crisp and cool. While they will likely "soften" with washing as most cotton sheets do, these are not "smooth" and never will be. Definitely not the percale sheets of yesteryear that were cool, breathable, thick, smooth, and crisp. Seems the only percale sheets I can find that are like that cost A LOT more then they ever did in my youth, even adjusting for inflation. These are rough, but weirdly in a pleasant way. They wrinkle like crazy no matter how you dry them (line drying not possible in the city)! ... show more

Color is more of a bright mint than the softer sage described and pictured. After washing the set they remain really stiff, but they are soft/smooth. Hoping they will soften over time.

I prefer a crisp cotton sheet and these are more than perfect! They do wrinkle a lot but i don't care, doesn't affet the quality of my sleep at all. FINALLY I have found a sheet/pillowcases that keep my old lady hots under control at night. Not once in the week since i put these on my bed have i woken up needing to flip my hot pillow.
