Description

Nourish your dog's mind and help him think more like he did when he was younger with Purina Pro Plan BRIGHT MIND Adult 7+ Chicken and Rice Formula dry dog food. A dog's brain begins to change how it metabolizes glucose around age 7, which can affect memory, learning, awareness or decision-making. Purina discovered that enhanced botanical oils can be used to provide an additional fuel source for the brain in dogs age 7+. When added to the daily diet of dogs 7 and older, these enhanced botanical oils promoted alertness and mental sharpness. Including chicken as the first ingredient, this senior dog food provides your dog with a high-quality source of protein. Omega-6 fatty acids and vitamin A promote healthy skin and a beautiful coat, while glucosamine and EPA, an omega-3 fatty acid, support your dog's joint health and mobility. You can feel good about feeding him a formula designed to deliver top-tier, highly specialized nutrition.

Good Quality for Picky Dog
Flavor Name: Chicken & Rice Size: 30 Pound (Pack of 1)
This food has been a hit for a dog that grew tired of several other foods.

A happy pup
Flavor Name: Chicken & Rice Size: 30 Pound (Pack of 1)
During the pandemic we couldn’t get our regular food (Purina sensitive skin and stomach) so had gotten this as a last ditch effort to keep our 10 year old Aussie fed. I was worried about his stomach with the switch, but he’s never been better. No stomach upsets, and he suddenly has way more energy. He always seemed to move fine and without complaint, but he’s now WOUND UP again and loving life. We’ve had to start going for daily bicycle rides to take the edge off because he’s feeling better than ever. While a bit expensive, we will never have a different senior feed because it made a world of difference. He’s a puppy again but without the chewing! ... show more

Not too long ago my dog had a cyst in his mouth and the vet went ahead and removed all of his remaining teeth. Even being toothless and a smaller dog he gobbles this kibble down without issue. His stools are consistent with each poop being firm yet wet. He also licks himself less frequently (see picture of him on my lap) as he would lick himself compulsively to the point of developing red streaks his legs. This food contains probiotics, MTC's, and glucosamine all of which are important ingredients to have for older dogs. The probiotics help to strengthen their immune system and improve digestion and absorption of nutrients. The MTC's are a fatty-acid derived from vegetable oils that studies have shown to help cognitive function in older dogs. Glucosamine is a compound found in cartilage that can help dogs with hip and joint pain. I recommend you give it a try, especially if you have an older dog that seems to be declining cognitively. There's really no reason not to since it's affordable, highly rated, and widely available both here on Amazon and at pet stores. ... show more

PRICE GOUGING IN PROGRESS
Flavor Name: Chicken & Rice Size: 5 Pound (Pack of 1)
It's an excellent dog food. I can legit see the difference in Bootsy's sharpness and he's fifteen now. What's not cool? Buying options that are charging over $30 for a five pound bag, which means the small dogs have to suffer by going without. I'll start using Chewy so my little dude can have the dog food he needs. ... show more

Neurologist recommended
Flavor Name: Chicken & Rice Size: 5 Pound (Pack of 1)
My 16-yr-old yorkie’s neurologist recommended this food. I could only find it on Amazon and ordered 2 small bags to get free shipping. My dog switched over readily with no digestive issues.
