Product arrived in two boxes. Upon unboxing, it was clear that all main structural pieces were solid wood (no mdf) and each was clearly labeled!! The included printed instructions were easy to follow. The product comes with a combo screwdriver/allen wrench, but things went together easier with my own screw driver (i also recomnend having a powered drill/screw gun on hand). A few of the wood screw locations were in awkward positions, but most were easiliy accessible. There were several pilot holes that were missing in the wood (specifically, where the three big hinges attach the two main folding sections). This was annoying, but locating the drill locations and drilling the holes was straight forward. I just needed to be careful to not drill completely through the wood! With the extra drilling steps, assembly took about 4.5 hrs. I did 99% of the construction myself, but a couple steps were much easier with an extra set of hands. Final assembled product is sturdy and appears that it will be durable. The included mattress is very light weight, but seems supportive. This is a five star product, but i had to take away one star for the extra drilling steps.

This Murphy Bed is beautifully made and is such a compliment to our spare room! Although we were contacted by the seller that the product was out of stock, they went above and beyond to make sure we received our new choice with expedited shipping. The communication could not have been better! The only recommendation I would make is to consider placing a foam topper on top of the mattress to add to the comfort.

This was easy to assemble, except for one of the cams was broken (luckily I had an extra one from a previous project) and one screw was unusable. The top panel had some dents and scraped paint from shipping, but the seller gave me some $ back wich made it worth the extra work needed. My wife and I assembled in about 3 hours. It is a 2 person job. It's very sturdy. Seller is great to work with.

I was initially concerned that most of the components were made from MDF, but the veneer and finish are a good quality. The build process was fairly straight forward, but required a few adjustments due to misalignments - very easily fixed. The finished product feels very sturdy. When I contacted the seller with a few questions, they were quick to respond and made sure I was satisfied with the product. Overall I am pleased, especially with my customer service experience.

This bed is great BUT the directions are wrong. I only recommend this is you have the patience to figure out the flaws of the instructions. It took my boyfriend and I 2 days to put it together. It has a lot a pieces, but for good reason. It needs to be study which it is. Once you figured out that with certain screws that they mean the opposite it will be smooth sailing. It will not take you 2 days to complete. We just took our time because we started putting it together late in the day on both days. I’m loving it so far. It didn’t get 5 stars because the instructions are wrong.
