It does have pockets on both sides for storing things but the way it is designed it is for the right hand side only. Even if you reverse it the pockets are still on the right hand side. I bought this item for m husband new recliner to keep the light color fabric clean. It truly is the best item I bought to cover the chair. More then enough material to cover the chair. One thing I would want is a slit on the seat seam and arm pad because some recliners have the handle to recline between the seat cushion and arm of the chair so the one cover for the arm can’t lay over the chair. But I worked it out and would buy again

I bought this for my small recliner. The cover itself is small, but straps are very lang. The long elastic strap which should keep the back on the recliner is about 35 inches longer then supposed to be. So there is nothing to secure It back of the recliner. Than there is 4 straps which should be attached to inside of recliner Seat. Now you need to lift the recliner to attach them to the frame under recline. I would not even attempt to pick up such a heavy item! Please see pic #4 …..I gave up! Now the cover is loose and I don’t know how to fix it.
