My bedroom is poorly insulated, and even with the furnace running it stays in the low 60s during the winter, which is awful for me because I have poor circulation and get cold easily. Before buying this duvet I had a quilt, three blankets, and an old down duvet (mostly flattened) on the bed, WITH a heated mattress pad, and I was still freezing for half the night. I purchased this duvet (the green winter model) and used it to replace the three blankets and the old duvet -- and now I don't even need the heated mattress pad to stay warm through the night! This duvet has substantial loft, a comforting weight to it (not as heavy as a weighted blanket, but still nice pressure), and is so, SO warm. I'm sleeping much more comfortably now! (Also I can't keep the dog off the bed now, because she likes nesting in the super fluffy duvet, too.) As a note, the duvet is shipped vacuum-sealed, and it takes time to fluff up to full loft. I let mine sit out of the packaging for about an hour and then put it in the dryer (cool air only!) for about 20 minutes, and that helped it expand much faster.

Honest review...You need to wash this around 3-4 times for MAX enjoyment and comfort! It's SOFT, it's Cool, it's warm! lol EVERYHING you want in a comforter!!! The washing/drying makes it SOOOO PUFFY and LUSH!!!

This duvet is extremely soft, especially after you wash it. The material is beautifully made, and it’s a lightweight duvet. It’s also very warm to sleep under so if you burn hot while sleeping this is probably not the product for you. I ended up giving it to my grandmother because she’s always cold and she loves it.

This comforter is a fantastic choice for staying warm and comfortable during winter nights. The lightweight cotton duvet insert provides an excellent level of warmth without feeling suffocating. The pinch pleat design adds a touch of elegance to the bed cover. Additionally, the reasonable price makes it a great value for the quality provided. This is a very light yet thick blanket. It doesn't "feel" heavy but is very warm. It feels like its made well and will last long. The outer material however is a little stiff at first but softens up after use. I just really like how it feels so light on top of you but yet keeps you very warm and snuggly. The soft blue color goes with just about anything too.
