I bought this stick because I have used players cues in the past and they were really good. I will say it is a beautiful stick which is why I gave it three stars. However, after shooting with it for two weeks I cannot find any consistency. I use a lot of right and left English. For comparison I have a predator sport with the z2 shaft from 15 years ago. The deflection from the z2 shaft is way less than this cue. Even on very slow speed shots. My suggestion is if you don’t use a lot of left/right hand English this is a good beginner cue. But if you are a serious player and want to put spin on the cue ball order a predator shaft. They are pricey but well worth it in the long run. I will stay with my 15 year old cue for now. It’s still straight as an arrow and I run a lot of nine ball racks with it!

I've used the cue for 3 weeks now and the joint doesn't line up right(it's offset) and the clear coat near the joint is wearing off already and only used it one day a week for 3 weeks.

Out of the box and straight to the table, what a world of difference. Low deflection is REAL. I cannot go back to my previous cue (Custom Cue made in Philippines, Pro Taper, Triangle Tip Medium). It seems that all shots with or without English have been affected positively. I do like the feel of the Kamui black soft tip, but I still need to get used to it as I miscue sometimes when I apply extreme spin to my shots (prior cue the tip was a bit more forgiving). Otherwise I have no complaints, and I highly recommend this if you are intrested in trying low deflection.
