This Maison d'Orient perfume oil in the scent 'Pure Radiance' is delicious! I like oriental and musky scents so I was very eager to try this. The bottle is a beautiful golden color and the top is a screw off top which confused me at first. I was tugging it to try to get it off and thought I had a bad product. The oil itself is a beautiful fruity, floral musk combination if you like that type of scent. I love vanillas and patchouli so it is right up my alley. You can really smell the red berries but I don't smell the vanilla...I smell more of the musk. All the scents blend well with each other and nothing is overpowering. It all just smells pleasant together. The application is a dabber style, which is typically not my favorite, but this is an oil so it makes sense. A little bit goes a LONG way and since this is an oil it will just sit on your skin and give a greasy look to the spot you applied it. It also came with samples of Tahara Musk and Pink Musk. The Tahara Musk is a white, milky looking oil that is more a soapy and powdery musk. The Pink Musk smells more fruity and floral combined with the musk. I prefer the Tahara of the two samples. I am not typically into layering or mixing scents but both of the samples mix well with the original. The oils themselves are not overpowering but they are long lasting....I wore them overnight and could still faintly detect them the next morning after waking up. With that said, they do wash off cleanly and do not leave that lingering musk scent that some other fragrances tend to do. This is a great selling point for me as I want the fragrance gone when I shower. The bottle is small but a little goes a long way!

As the title indicates, this fragrance is growing on me more and more as I wear it. Upon first uncorking the (ridiculously pretty!) glass bottle, it felt like a very aggressive floral. A bit sharp, very bright. I'm not huge on florals (more of a gourmand girlie), I tend to find them quite head-achey, but I wanted to give this a shot since it listed vanilla as one of the notes. It was a bit of a risk, but I'm glad I did it! The longer this scent sits on my flesh (around 5 hours now), the more it settles down into something much warmer, smoother. The jasmine scent is still the most noticeable note to me, but it's no longer overpowering or overly intense. Now, it's got a velvety quality to it that I find really enjoyable. The vanilla is understated, but it's there, and it has become much more noticeable as the hours pass. I think this is definitely worth a shot! The price is fair, and the quality is quite good both in terms of packing, scent, throw, etc. Longevity is definitely there as well, just one drop has lasted me several hours now with only the slightest bit of fading (and I'm not complaining, because at first, it is QUITE strong and definitely benefits from a little fade!)

This is a gorgeous GORGEOUS scent. I love black currant and it really shines through, juicy and delicious. It's not too floral and not too sweet. It's a mix of floral, juicy, and sweet and balances it nicely where one isn't too overpowering. It's STRONG, so a TINY drop will go a long way both in terms of scent and longevity. I applied a small amount on my skin and I could still smell hints of it the next day. The packaging is gorgeous, and it's an oil so this little bottle will last you a while, especially given how long-lasting the scent is. For the price, that's incredibly fair. This isn't a spray perfume but a thicker oil (but it's not oily, just feels like a more viscous water but it sinks in nicely). As such, there's no spray nozzle. Instead, there's a glass wand/dabber that you gently either rub on your skin or let a drop or two fall off of onto your skin. It's a little difficult to open up the stopper. Mine came with two samples - Musk Tahara and Pink Musk. I loved finding these little bonuses in my bag. Pink Musk is a pretty, lightly sweet rosewater scent but I FELL IN LOVE with Musk Tahara. It's a floral, layered scent that leans more feminine to my nose and is so so lovely. Same wear-time and longevity notes as the full-size I got, which is a good sign and indicator that most of this brand's products will likely be the same.

The Maison d’Orient Pure Radiance Perfume Oil came beautifully package in a velvet black pouch along with 2 sample vials of the scent Musk Tahara and Pink Musk. The 12 mL gold and glass bottle looks so elegant and the scent is beautiful. I get a hint of a floral and vanilla notes. The scent is strong in the beginning but in the dry down, the scent becomes more subtle but lasts a long time even with the couple of drops that I put on. The oil is so concentrated that a little goes a long way. I feel like this is more of a mature sexy scent and I would likely put this on at night, during a dinner date, than to the office. This perfume equally compare to the other higher luxury brand perfumes out there for a fraction of the price. I also tried the included sample of their Musk Tahara and that is one I would wear in the daytime, at the office. I’m so happy that I tried this as I love perfumes and have quite a collection of it but this was not in my radar until now. The value is there for the price and the amount that you get. I highly recommend this especially for the perfume connoisseurs out there. Don’t sleep on Maison d’Orient.
