When I first received this planter I thought it was smaller than I wanted, but once it was snapped together it was exactly what I wanted. It was slightly difficult to assemble, but with a small amount of pressure it went together and looks beautiful on my porch. My only complaint is that I can not get the top to stay put so when moving it around have to be careful of where to grab it. That may be for planting reasons, unsure as it was easy to plant with the top sitting on it, rather than planting and then trying to put the top on around your plant. I did not read the description close enough and did not know it had to be assembled. I tried but gave up. The plastic is flimsy. Broken pieces were in the box. Not worth the money or time to put it together. It was returned. I will find a sturdy pot that is all in one piece.

I read that this planter was sometimes difficult to assemble, but we were able to assemble pretty quickly once we had the pieces on a flat surface. The planter is the right size for the space and I am happy with it. I think I would give it 5 stars if it had a matte finish. I’m not filling it with dirt so it isn’t heavy. It’s pretty light weight so I personally would not fill with dirt or rocks. ... show more

This is lightweight plastic. These are not as easy to snap together as you would think. It is a little like an erector set. You must read the directions and even with that it takes pressure to snap them together. It easily falls apart as you try get the pieces together. Once assemble the top frame easily falls off. It looks nice once together I am not sure how well these will last during the year. I live in CA so weather is not as much of any issue with cold weather but the sun does get hot so I will see how it goes. ... show more

This planter came in a small box and needs to be assembled. Assembly was rather easy as each of the parts "snap" together. It took me about 5 minuts to assemble. It is made of plastic, however, it does look fine and seems to be sturdy.

This is an attractive pot. But is not well made. Can not be used inside. Water and soil will come out the bottom. Wanted to return but it some of the parts cannot be taken apart to reship!
