The shoe is comfortable and true to size. I like that it not mesh. The color is fine but the description said it was red but it looks more pink. This shoe is a good value for the money I paid and works good as an everyday work shoe. Since I am on my feet a lot I need a good shoe.

So it's not like I haven't spend 2-300 on other pairs/brands of exercise sneakers.... but these Puma Tazons remain the most comfortable of all <<shoulder shrug>>. I do have to replace them often (as soon as the integrity of the sneaker starts to break down - every 3-5 mos).... however it's still cost effective, and with a pair of orthotics, my aching feet are happy after daily jump ropes and jumping jacks. Easy to find for about 30 on sale, I always have a few pairs on hand. No idea what I will do if they stop making these inexpensive work-horses!

I have bunions, and need a shoe that is NOT mesh in that location, to support my foot and try to keep it from trying to spread further. Unfortunately, this shoe will not do that, but I know that is due to factors that other people may be interested in. #1 - the area of the shoe where the ball of the foot goes is roomy, and is a "relaxed fit" even for my wider-due-to-bunion foot. #2 - while the uppers ARE a "leather", we're talking baby soft, thin, almost lambskin faux leather. It gives like the mesh shoes, and seems to breathe well (not as much as mesh). #3 - sole has good shock absorption under heels. Slight downhill to front of foot, which seems less padded. Two other details: insole is soft foam, it takes about a day or so to flatten into the shape of your foot. As for arch support - my foot will get a pinched nerve if the arch support is too aggressive. These shoes do not trigger that. I feel like there is some supprt from the sides of the shoe, but minimal arch in the foundation of the sole. Laces it comes with stay tied!

This is my first purchase of Puma shoes, and I love them. I am 5'6" tall, 135 lbs, and i exercise every day for about an hour doing a mix of aerobics and cross training. I wear an 8.5 women's size and while I am a medium width my feet are just short of a wide. These were true to size and roomy in the toe box which is important. If you haven't used cross trainers like these they might feel a bit odd at the beginning. The platform is very stable almost as if you can't roll your foot from side to side. But that is a huge benefit if like me your feet roll outward while walking. It's also a big benefit for cross training classes during which you make sudden side to side movements. These keep you firmly planted on the floor. They look like they would be very heavy, but they are the exact opposite. They are very light but well constructed. On your feet you either love the look or you don't. They make my feet look large especially in width but it doesn't bother me a bit. The comfort is worth it. I tend to wear running tights which accentuates how wide they appear. If you are wearing yoga pants that won't bother you. I wish they came in a wider variety of colors but again - the comfort is worth it. I have not used these outdoors and don't plan to so i can't speak to that. I wear them in the gym for classes like HIIT, boxing and boot camp. And I have also used them on the treadmill, cross trainer and the elliptical. Overall i am very happy with them and will buy them again.
