Even if this jacket didn’t have the heating feature, it’s probably one of the best constructed jackets I’ve ever purchased. The stitching is strong and perfect and the zippers are of a high quality. I’m currently setting outside, at night and the temperature is 48 degrees and a 21mph wind and I’m warm even on the lowest setting. As a precaution I ordered a spare battery. This jacket makes my night time security job very tolerable on those really cold nights.

Right off the bat, I have never had a jacket that fits this perfect in my life! I am 6'2" and 180 pounds, and have always been between an L & XL, always had to try it on at the store, and either the XL is too large around the belly, or the arms are too long, or visa versa too small on the L. But this in a Large fits perfect. If you are in my range, get the L, not XL. Great heat, just so impressed here, AND I just priced these on sale at Home Depot at the minimum of $199 on a blowout sale, so what a deal! Rugged material, I was looking for something that was nit the cheap $50 version on E-Bay that is puffy polyester, I just don't trust polyester with any kind of battery near it or heated coils inside it, too much risk for fire.

Ok so I never really write review's for my stuff's for Amazon but, this coat is outstanding! The inner lining is soft and comfy. The Outside of this thing is durable, waterproof, and looks nice😎 the heater part is what takes it to the next level, great for a cold night or soothing for back pain. I love this thing and would recommend it to everyone 👍... Also I have no idea if they give gifts for good reviews like some companies do but I'll say this, if you do keep it. This coat is reward enough for anybody who gets one.

After scouring the internet for heated jackets that run true to size, I found that your choices are this or the very very expensive tool company branded jackets. The 3xl fits great. I'm usually between 2x and 3x and this is on the large side of 3x. Sleeves a little long. Body fits great. There are some adjustment points on the sleeve and waist to cinch things down if needed. Upper back warms great (especially if you wear a backpack btw. It presses into your back and makes better contact). Chest warms great. The third section is the "pocket" section. The heating element doesn't line up great with where your hands will be in the pocket, and that zone doesn't get too hot. However, I do feel that section contributing to the overall warmness of the jacket. I'm using the jacket on high and after 2 hours outside, the battery reads at half capacity. My wife's "iurek" brand vest has a smaller batter of a higher capacity that seems to work fine in this jacket too. they both have the same proprietary type of connection. It does look like other batteries are available for this jacket, even if not explicitly for this jacket. The company's website has official ones, but I think you can halve the price if you search around enough. I've only used this jacket twice, so I can't speak about longevity. The led lights are a bit obnoxious, but it's nothing a piece of electrical tape won't fix. And truthfully, it's become a conversation piece and the source of envy among other sports spectators during cold outdoor events. Sometimes these heated jackets and vest feel like a "papery" substance is between layers of fabric, sounding and feeling weird. This obviously has heating elements, but doesn't feel weird. The jacket material is also quite nice. We pronounce the brand "potatoes" because why not?

I usually wear XXXL shirts and the XXXL jacket come close to fitting me well. Plenty of room on the midsection but not so much that it is drafty, but the length on the jacket isn't long enough and there is a gap of about one inch between where the bottom of the jacket ends and the top of my pants begin. It is certainly warm enough though. I went on a 2 hour scooter ride in 28F with a strong wind and it kept me warm and toasty. I started off with it on low and about one hour into it found I needed to bump it up to Medium and the last ten minutes had to bump it up to High. I noticed though that if you turn it off a few minutes later you can't turn it back on again without pushing a button on the battery, which isn't easily accessible unless you remove the jacket. It's inconvenient enough that I found it best never to turn it off. The heated pockets are nice enough that you don't need gloves for short periods of time. But if you are going to be out in the freezing cold for hours, gloves are still needed. The wrists have Velcro so you can tighten them on your wrists to help keep the cold out, but the Velcro was too short to provide a good seal on my wrists. Battery life was acceptable.. I haven't run out of power yet and I've had it turned on for as long as four hours on various heat settings. The battery is kind of bulky but not overly heavy. I have other USB charger batteries about the same size that are considerably heavier. The battery uses a mini USB-C cable to charge which is easier to plug in than micro-USB, i.e you can't plug it in backwards. It also has a regular full size USB3 type A port for charging other devices. Some things I don't like about the jacket: The collar doesn't come up high enough on the jacket to effectively shield your face from the cold so you still need a scarf. As I mentioned before it could be two inches longer. It seems to be rain-proof but I wish it had a hood. The wrists should have more Velcro to accommodate smaller wrists. The battery sits on the back hip and is very difficult to get to unless you take the jacket off, but at least it doesn't interfere with my pacemaker like other heated jackets I've seen. Some things I like about the jacket: Nice and warm with heating zones in all the right places. Zipper pockets. An inside pocket with webbing that will hold larger items like mail. An arm patch that looks cool. Comes with a nice carrying case. Well made. Fits around my belly like a 3X jacket should. Zippers have strings attached so they are easy to operate even with gloves on. The lighting on the power indicator is clean and looks cool and is easy to operate even with heavy gloves.

Eager and excited about this jacket which I decided to give it a test drive. With the battery fully charged and the highest heat setting selected, only 3 heat zones were functional (back and hand warmers). Great idea but unfortunately will have to return.
