This review covers the two-in-one: (Book 1) Auras: The Ultimate Guide to Aura Reading, Clairvoyance, and Other Psychic Abilities; and (Book 2) Telepathy: Unlocking the Secrets of Sending Telepathic Messages and Psychic Development This book is an excellent complement and introduction to the the intricacies of auras and the world of telepathy. Both of these areas are often surrounded in mystery. Silva uses plain language to explain what auras are, the anatomy of aura layers, how to see your own aura, and how to observe the auras of others including plants and animals. The book includes methods for cleansing, healing, and protecting one's aura. In addition, there is a section to understand the various aura colors. The best part of the book is the daily tips section for enhancing psychic abilities. By closing on the first book section with psychic abilities, Silva is able to begin the second book by delving into what exactly is telepathy, the types of telepathy, its benefits, and most importantly, how to determine if the reader has the gift of telepathy. The book then explores the type of "clair-"abilities which leads into the use of meditation and other tools to open the sixth chakra, better known as "The Third Eye". The chapter on the Third Eye is insightful with answering questions about how to how that the Third Eye is opening, fears and common physical sensations when this opening occurs. The sections on sending messages to others, including exercises, and the section on twin telepathy are enlightening. The most useful chapter is the final one on closing (and opening) the door and window to the mind. This was an interesting overview of a subject in which I know nothing, so it was a good place to start for me. It has a lot of suggested exercises, which align with meditation, so I think they will be relaxing and enjoyable to do. I especially enjoyed the first part of the book and there were some interesting ideas presented that I’ll be researching further. Easy and quick read! I’ve read similar but Mari Silva presents a straightforward approach to Psychic Abilities that I found easy to comprehend. Thinking I have previously gained the knowledge to practice these skills, I learned so much more than just a basic understanding. Instead I was able to apply the skills i have and in adding Ms Silvas suggestions feel more confident in doing so. Pick it up even if you think you know everything regarding Aura Readings, Clairvoyance and any of the many psychic abilities you have been already practicing. Love the Information Part 1: Auras: The Ultimate Guide to Aura Reading, Clairvoyance, and Other Psychic Abilities This is a two part book, Part 1 discusses Auras, and Part 2 discusses Telepathy. I will be reviewing each separately, starting with Part 1. In this part Mari Silva begins by defining what Auras are and providing background information. She discusses the Aura Anatomy, which consists of seven layers, and they are: 1. The Etheric Body - The etheric layer is the first subtle body; it is also the closest layer to the physical body, and is about 2 inches from the skin. The etheric layer corresponds directly with the root chakra. 2. The Emotional Body - The second layer of the auric field is called the emotional body. Sitting second from our physical body, and is linked with vibrational levels of our feelings. The emotional body is associated with the sacral chakra. 3. The Mental Body - The third subtle energy body of the auric field is the mental layer or mental body. As you can probably tell from its name, the mental layer is the energy body linked with your thoughts and mental processes. This third auric layer is connected to the Solar Plexus chakra. 4. The Astral Body - The fourth auric layer is the astral body, which can also be called the spiritual body. Connected with the heart chakra, the astral body is associated with things that concern physical, mental, and emotional expression. 5. The Etheric Template - The etheric template is the fifth auric layer and is directly related to the fifth chakra. This auric layer is home to the energetic blueprint of every thing on the physical plane; that’s why it is called the etheric template. 6. The Celestial Body - Also called the causal body. This celestial body is the sixth layer of the auric field. In simple terms, the celestial layer is the place where spiritual connection and enlightenment begins. 7. I am highly impressed with this book, as a beginner in study of Auras and Chakras I was very pleased to have been able to read this amazing detailed book on how to get started. This book explains it all step by step and will teach you many new techniques, at least they were for me. I definitely recommend this book to anyone that has been curious or looking to fully involve yourself in learning.
