  • Best guitar on the market at this price
Color: Turquiose Style: Righty
I just don't know how PRS can make such a nice guitar for sub $600. I have been a practicing musician for over 30 years and have 30 plus guitars. We bought this as a birthday gift for our 12-year-old who just started playing. I am beyond impressed with the fit and finish, the pick ups are spot on, great temelo and super stable tuning. My plan was to mod this right away with Seymour Duncan and locking tuners but no real need. Just perfect as it was delivered. I would gig this guitar right out of the box- that set up was spot on out-of-the-box. This is, by far, the best guitar deal out there. I have guitars in the $2000 range that don't play or sound this good. Blown away. Great job PRS!!!! ... show more

  • Don’t hesitate- this is the one!

Epic guitar. Son gets ALL the complements— it’s absolutely beautiful.. included a pic of it on stage. Sounds excellent, holds a tune very well- Ours came with a very very nice backpack case that has been holding up extremely well and has traveled to probably 10 gigs/shows.

  • Not as shown.

While not as shown in the picture, hence the star drop, it is a beautiful, amazing playing guitar. Came near perfectly set up. Had to raise the action on the unwound strings, due to fret buzz with open strings, but that's something I have learned to expect on new guitar purchases. The electronics sound amazing, tuning stability is awesome when using tremolo. Low E will go a little sharp, but way better than my other tremolo equipped guitars. Love the guitar, but Amazon may want to change the pic on the page. Very happy, however, the pic doesn't match what I received. ... show more

  • Picture is not exact
Color: Turquiose Style: Righty
Bought this guitar for my father. He was the one who started me playing. I became pretty successful as a guitarist regarding special schools, early gigging, etc.. but he bought me a 1995 limited edition American Std Fender Strat when I turned 13. It was Ocean Turquoise with a matching headstock. So, when I saw this Gorgeous PRS in a very similar color and matching headstock, I was more than excited as this would be my 72yo father’s VERY FIRST ELECTRIC guitar. Don’t get me wrong, he loves the guitar, it plays really good, well made, pickups are decent and hardware is good. Appearance is still gorgeous but don’t expect the headstock to be painted or for it to be burled maple. I understand with natural wood, finish cannot be garunteed but just know that the headstock will not be matching as the one in the pic. At least, I assume. I contacted Amazon and wrote to PRS about it but Amazon didn’t have an answer and PRS hasn’t responded. Other than that, great guitar. ... show more

Says it’s a direct replacement for 429636 which is a 101.5” belt but this one is slightly smaller. I wasn’t concerned because my previous belt I picked up at tractor supply was the same length 101” but this one overheated and delaminated within 30 mins. Shredded within 30 mins of mowing. • My new passion
Color: Turquiose Style: Lefty
I can definitely say its beautiful. It does come with a wammy bar, which isnt pictured in any other reviews. It comes with a bag. This is my first electric electric guitar. I have an acoustic electric, but i like the sound of the se custom better. There is significantly more range of sound. I had been considering getting an electric guitar for a year but didnt think it made sense since i had an acoustic. However, i tried one out at a local shop (epiphone les paul) and absolutely loved it. I also tried out a righty gretsch which I was considering but the sound didnt impress me as much as the videos id seen. It was also a hollow body and felt way too big on my lap. Electric guitar volume is much more manageable than an acoustic so it wont bother neighbors as much. It really has renewed my interest in playing guitar again. This guitar is very smooth, which makes moving your hand along the fret easier than my acoustic. Its almost easier to memorize the fret numbers because instead of counting i can just memorize what bird to play at. Sound is good quality. Amazing if you have a good amp. I have spark headphones and the amount of diverse sounds i can make is thrilling. However, i think you are paying a premium for the aesthetic, especially considering right hand is $500 (so unfair). It is nice though. The entire guitar sometimes vibrates with sound which i like. It stays in tune if left untouched for over 24 hours. However, im not experienced enough to be in a position where i can recommend you spend $700 on a guitar. Its hard to find left handed guitars so its hard for me to compare. You may be able to find used guitars at a local shop that are very good, but its very subjective. Strings sometimes buzz, but so does my acoustic. It is manageable by playing better. It is good to know there is free returns with prime. I Did not need to sign on delivery. ... show more

  • Not as described!
Color: Amethyst Style: Righty
Color seems off. Description mentions a matching headstock veneer, but it does NOT have one. Seems to have been used, in that scratches on both back covers show what could have been from a belt buckle. Not sure what made them, but pictures show the angle and position of back against the belt area of seated position. ... show more
