  • Feels Like the Guitar That Pushed Me Forward Feels Like the Guitar That Pushed Me Forward
Color: Orange Tiger Smokeburst
This PRS SE is my first higher level guitar, and after learning for almost a year, I can honestly say it made a big difference for me. Some things that felt like roadblocks on my cheaper guitar became much easier with this one. Barre chords, for example, are more comfortable now, and the wider neck gives my hand more room without feeling cramped. The overall quality feels excellent to me. The neck is smooth, my hand slides easier, and it just makes playing more enjoyable. The sound quality is also amazing. I’m using it with a Fender Frontman 20G amp, and they work really well together. It has a clean, full sound that makes me want to keep practicing longer. Before buying it, I did a lot of searching because I wasn’t sure about spending this much. I was looking at Epiphone and Gretsch too, but I saw mixed reviews and then got a suggestion to check out this PRS SE. It didn’t take long for me to make up my mind after that, and I have no regrets. The case that came with it is also high quality and feels protective. It is easy to carry the guitar either by hand or on your back, which makes it more convenient if you need to take it somewhere. I strongly suggest this guitar if you are serious about learning and want something that feels like a real step up. If you’re unsure, go to a music store and try one. For me, it feels like one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. ... show more

  • Excellent guitar and flawless. Company put some time in with the details
Color: Blue Matteo
Unboxed, tuned, and inspected for finish flaws. I’m happy to say it’s perfect. Frets are smooth & level, frets ends was very nicely done. Crisp clean sound, picks up bring out the tone with a bit of overdrive. My 2 Finder Strats are in the case now. This will be my go to guitar. Very happy and you won’t go wrong buying this guitar. ... show more

  • Exceptional craftsmanship at a great price
Color: Lake Blue
Really enjoy this guitar. The color looks so much better in person, and the one I received has an exceptional "match up" of the wood grain on the front. All 6 strings were about 2 half-tones flat (I believe this was likely intentional...) and after I tuned it, it has stayed pretty much in tune. I normally replace strings on new guitars immediately, and had ordered 3 different sets directly from the PRS website...but the strings that came on it sound really awesome! After turning, i checked the relief and intonation, as well as the action and pickup height and all were set better than any of my previous guitar purchases. I can't really find anything negative with this guitar or purchase experience at all, and I definitely recommend this PRS. It actually makes me want to play more, just don't like to put it down after I start playing!! ... show more

  • Plays like a dream
Color: Blue Matteo
Great purchase. The guitar arrived as expected and was immaculate. The guitar playability is perfect and was obviously professionally set up. I’ve had several PRS models and just recently sold my PRS Swamp Ash because I wasn’t impressed with how it played. This beautiful Blue Matteo guitar is a simple dual humbucker two pot set up with incredible tone very happy with this purchase that was well under the retail pricing. ... show more

  • Great electric for an acoustic player. Solid construction, beautiful design. Great electric for an acoustic player. Solid construction, beautiful design.
Color: Orange Tiger Smokeburst
I've owned many guitars over the years, but lately I've mainly been playing acoustic. It's just less hassle, and relatively forgiving. I purchased this guitar because I've always wanted a PRS, and I had heard that the action was nice and clean, and the neck is wide enough that I wouldn't feel cramped. I've had a couple of sessions now, and I can say that this is probably the nicest electric guitar I've ever owned. Quite a heft to it. Very solid construction, and the fret board is extremely comfortable. Very happy with my new guitar! ... show more

Color: Blue Matteo
This is a beautiful guitar!! Strings are a little heavy (classics) Action a little high but nonetheless worth it One flaw they overlooked I'm going to let you be the Judge Tell me what you see is the difference in guitars

  • Excellent Guitar and piece of art
Color: Lake Blue
Excellent guitar. Perfect finish, neck was straight, no fret buzz, pickups sound great. Holds tune well. The pull out knob to switch to single coil pickups is difficult to use because the knob is smooth plastic.
