  • Protec for the win!!
Style: Alto Sax/Soprano Sax Combination Case
First and foremost I always have loved ProTec products. I needed to travel to Atlanta and needed a case to carry my alto and soprano because I would be crazy to check any instruments on the plane. This came through great!! I would say it is a bit heavy for me being a female but it’s not unbearably heavy. I rest more easy knowing my saxes are protected so I understand the weight. Wheels are great and has plenty of storage space for my sax stand and accessories. One thing I love is perfect space for neck pieces. My previous case I had to store them in a separate pocket because otherwise they would go flying around the case. Overall I give this case a 9/10. Would definitely recommend to any saxophonist that needs both soprano and alto. ... show more

  • Attractive and Functional Alto & Soprano Sax Wheelie Case
Style: Alto Sax/Soprano Sax Combination Case
This doubles case on wheels is good looking, built with high quality materials and fasteners and has a solid framework that protects contents more than adequately. I've used this case a few times for rehearsals and gigs and it have not been disappointed. Protec case quality is hard to beat and this one is no exception. I recommend it for anyone preferring the relative ease of pulling your case on wheels rather than carrying them by hand or back straps. ... show more

  • Excellent double case for alto and soprano saxophones
Style: Alto Sax/Soprano Sax Combination Case
I had always resisted buying a double case because I was playing soprano infrequently, however this year I found myself needing both alto and soprano in two bands, so I bit the bullet. The case is nicely made and affordable. The interior protects the saxophones well and there’s a generous amount of storage space for accessories. The exterior pocket accommodates a saxophone stand and pegs, with room for music books or small folders. The wheels and zippers work well and the handles are conveniently placed. The appearance is professional and resembles a suitcase. The only downside is the weight as it can be quite heavy when it is necessary to carry up or down stairs, or when lifting into the car. ... show more

  • 3-in-1 On-the-Go Convenience!
Style: Alto Sax/Clarinet/Flute Combination Case
I love having flute, clarinet, and alto conveniently together in ONE case! It is also handy that the individual pouches can be pulled out when needed. I would definitely recommend the trolley cart with this case because it is larger and heavier than a normal alto sax case. As a 5'1" petite 58-yr-old woman, the backpack strap option was not practical due to the size and weight of the case. I nearly injured my back testing it out and struggled to get the case off without assistance. The trolley, however, is a WONDERFUL option! A minor opportunity for improvement would be to include a little strip of velcro backing to cover any exposed velcro on the back of the case when the trolley cart is attached. I would also appreciate a little bit wider outside pocket to fit an oversized music folder. My old protec gig case had an expanding outside zipper pocket that was fabulous! ... show more

  • Back saver
Style: Alto Sax/Soprano Sax Combination Case
Just what doc ordered. Tweaked back day before and now don't have to carry 2 cases and stand bag. All fits with extra space.

  • It opens flat.
Style: Alto Sax/Clarinet/Flute Combination Case
It is a great case in my opinion. I can fit my Yani alto, artley flute, and buffet clarinet nice and snugly. It came with a pouch like case for the neck and mouthpiece, which works pretty good, but it dose take up just about all the room in the extra compartment. I have to put my reeds and stuff in the outside pocket, which is quite large. Weight wise it feel just about the same as my protec max alto case, maybe slightly heavier. It opens up flat, the cover will not stop halfway like other cases, so it hits the guys chair next to me when I set it up. The shoulder strap clips are on either side of the front opening so when you open it it kinda in the way. It serves it purpose, when you need multiple instruments. If I don't I use my protec max single case, very light weight and streamline. If I get on a plane, I use my guard leather gig bag. Overall I like it. ... show more

  • Nice case but too heavy
Style: Alto Sax/Soprano Sax Combination Case
Good case. Can accommodate alto, soprano, flute , clarinet, and sax stand....only if you are Arnold S...the terminator. Even with just soprano and alto it's too heavy....yes it has flimsy wheels but still too heavily. Velcro on outside is poorly stitched. Should have made case from light weight plastic covered with cloth. The Honking of returning it because of weight but has many advantages going for it. Protec customer service pretty good. ... show more
