I love this table! I first saw this table in another very expensive furniture store and I was so happy to discover this more affordable option. The work surface is so large and the storage is exactly what I needed in my small office. Now I actually have room to work and store supplies. It is a pleasure to wrap presents on the high work surface while standing. No more back pain! There is so much room underneath, I have two bar stools that fit under as well as an additional storage cart. Though the cart is empty now because of the ample storage space with the 9 cubbies on each side. Love it! Easy to assemble and was too Heavy to lift on my own, but easy to do as a team.     • Sturdy, Great Price, HUGE!
I'd been eyeing the craft table that Pottery Barn sells for $1000+, ALMOST pulled the trigger. After seeing that the $1,000 Pottery Barn project table would cost a grand total of $1,400+ after shipping and tax, and I read that the one I wanted was not wood & veneer, but MDF and veneer, I decided to look around. This project table is ALMOST the same. It too is made of MDF. The table top isn't the same, and it is 1/2" taller than the Pottery Barn model. BUT it's definitely not the same price-wise and it won't be delivered with a man to put it together and put it where you want. This craft table came in 2 large and heavy boxes. I was a little intimidated by all the different pieces and little parts, but once I got the first bookcase put together, the second one went together quickly. Then it was a matter of getting the table top on top of the bookcases. No problem. I'm 5'2" tall, and if I can lift the top and put it on the bookcase you can too. Unless you're shorter than I am, which is possible, but sucks to be you if you are (kidding). I wish my craft room was big enough to just sit the table in the middle and not up against a wall, but it works that way too. There is a lot of table top space. I have my sewing machine and iMac on it. Be warned that this project center is TALL...38.5 inches. It's taking some time for me to get used to it, being that I'm so freakin' short. I still love it. You'll need a barstool if you're going to do a lot of sitting doing whatever it is you're going to be doing. ... show more

I bought the desk/shelves to store my craft essentials The shelf pegs are very poor quality. The pegs are about 1/4” long and I am afraid they don’t hold much onthe shelves

    • Nice Solid Craft Table
I do really like this table. As others have commented it is quite solid - at least the table top is. The book shelves are pretty standard - nothing special to them. It is nice to have 9 shelves on each side of the table, though, and I have packed them full of fabric, crafts, patterns, etc. Initially I was concerned the table top might be too high for sewing with the foot peddle. I can sit on the edge of my a stool (which I normally do anyway) and still easily reach the peddle. I can also stand using the foot peddle. I must say, I really like that. BTW, I'm only 5'2", so anyone taller than that would have no problems. Customer service was pretty good. Unfortunately when I rec'd my table initially, 2 corners were beat up a little bit. I was just going to ignore it, but then I thought, for $600 I'm going to send a message. There seemed to be some issues with their email working correctly through Amazon, but when I finally got through, they replaced the table top completely! I was thrilled. I love the idea and supposed function of this item but it is way overpriced for the quality received. It’s a crafting space but be careful getting anything on it as it doesn’t wipe clean very well at all. The back side of the cubes has already fallen off multiple times as when I put it together that back piece doesn’t lay perfectly in the space it should and the nails just don’t do the job alone. I’ve had to back one side against the wall to hold it together and still trying to find a solution for the cubes that can’t go against the wall. Save the money and find an alternative way to create something similar ... show more

Sent an email the day of the scheduled assembly to verify. Response received indicated window between 2 PM & 310 PM. At approximately 3PM updated received updated reporting time of arrival now 3 PM to 500PM. After 5 PM sent an email (cannot speak to anyone...amazing) said they will look into it and get back to me in 48 hours. Cancelled assembly and did it myself. Main point is I waited around the entire afternoon. Over promised and under delivered. ... show more
