This book is the best one on farming that I’ve seen. I grew up on a farm in Ohio, and I felt that the author provided firsthand information that most non-farmer authors wouldn’t include. My 4.5 year old son loves this book! There are some great photos that are a unique perspective and we like the story. Informative and engaging! It’s in heavy rotation in our bedtime reading regime.

I purchased this book to use in an activity program for alzheimer's residents. The book is not childish, which is what I wanted and actually very hard to find. The pictures are large and colorful and the wording is easy to read and understand. It is exactly what I was looking for.     • Farming up close and vivid!
My young boys love farming and everything that goes along with it. This book does an incredible job with the photography to show the readers some of the machines and tractors that are used on farms. Great pictures, great captions. I highly recommed this book.

Four year old grandson loves tractors so I thought this would be a good book. But it is really for an elementary age child. Tells more about growing crops, etc. He was familiar with only one of the tractors.

Great book for children! The beautiful photographs show how the machines work, and the text describes their functions well. Everything about this book is well done!
