Exceptional Speed and Reliability for My Camera!

I recently picked up the Pro Grade Digital CF Express card, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. As a professional photographer, I need a card that can handle high-speed burst shooting, 4K video recording, and heavy raw files—and this card does all of that without breaking a sweat. The read/write speeds are phenomenal! I can transfer files to my computer in no time, and it never slows down during intense photo shoots or when shooting high-resolution video. It’s also incredibly reliable—no data corruption or lag, even when using it in demanding conditions. Another thing I appreciate is the build quality. It feels sturdy and durable, and I’ve had no issues with overheating or performance drops, even after hours of use. A great tried and true memory card.

The most reliable card I’ve used. Works great in our Nikon D5’s. It’s fast and easy to format. It writes fast in the camera. I do notice that when we are ingesting media through the prograde card reader, it does get hot, which I’m not a fan of, so I’m not sure if I should fault the card or the reader for that one, but overall it’s a great card.

A great option at a great price

This ProGrade 512GB CFexpress card is the ideal size for shooting 4K RAW footage. It performs flawlessly and keeps up with my demanding workflows, all without the steep price tag of other high-end brands. Reliable, fast, and an excellent value highly recommended for any videographer!

Runs Faster AND Cooler than SanDisk

This is the first ProMedia Card of any type I have ever used. Based on my not necessarily scientific observation, the ProMedia CF card reads and writes faster than the equivalent SanDisk cards. More importantly, it does not near as hot when downloading to my laptop. Both of my SanDisk cards get so hot during the data transfer that they will eventually crash. (It is also faster than a nearly identical Lexmar card as well.) Faster, cooler and cost less (at time of purchase- has gone up $30 in the past few weeks) Still worth the price for the speed and reliability.

I’m impressed with these latest ProGrade Digital CFexpress 4.0 Type B memory cards. They are noticeably faster in my camera and when paired with Prograde CFexpress Type B and SD UHS-II Dual-Slot Memory Card Reader, they read very fast into Lightroom on my MacBook Pro. My only concern is that the card heats up during the read process, but this has been noted by other reviews as well. FWIW, all the newer and faster technology (eg 10 GB Ethernet, NVME SSD memory, and more) all consume more power and generate more heat. It seems to be the price we must pay for ever faster tech.

Super fast writes. Never have to worry about buffering even when I am capturing 40 fps in RAW on a Canon R1. Most importantly, it's butt-reliable.
