I bought this after getting a new oil pump for my 2000 Jeep XJ. Saw way too many videos of people failing to get their pick up tubes to seat on their new pumps. I did not want to give the Jeep gods another pound of flesh so I bought this hoping it would work for my oil pump.     • Works well just incorrectly assembled
Fit the 5/8 tube on a milodon 18314 pickup. I was able to press in the pickup flush with about 3 whacks of a hammer into my high volume oil pump with the help of a vise. Pickup tool is assembled backwards with the reccessed lip facing up. I suggest cleaning and using red loctite 272 when reassembling the tool properly with the recessed lip facing away from the tools shaft. ... show more
