They only thing I didn’t like was the smell it has when I first opened it . Very fast but silent ! Love how pink and shiny it is the diamonds don’t fall off very high quality . Even the actual drill handle is high quality super easy to use not heavy .

EDIT: Contacted the company and although it was outside the return date (due to my having problems the past year) the company was prompt and so polite and sent me a new unit!! GREAT service, GREAT company Would highly recommend Love the item itself - it’s gorgeous But I’d love it more if it actually worked. Only works when plugged in continuously and that’s only once at a time. Every time I have to use it, I have to unplug it (then the whole unit shuts off - it doesn’t charge ever) and then wait for it to reboot. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. So while it worked, I loved this drill! My partner even commented on how much quieter is was, and I was so taken by the sparkly gems and beautiful interface. However, it got increasingly glitchy each use and by the 4th time I used it, it wouldn’t start. I don’t know if this is user error - I attached a video of what it does when I try to use it now. I’m at a standstill with no e file again. I contacted support right away. I’m outside the refund window (this sat in its box for a while before being used) but support still accepted my request for an exchange! Not only that, but they are not having me send back the defective one! To top the cake, I spoke to support yesterday, and the new one is set to arrive by the time I finish work today. While I can’t quite speak on the quality of the product because I received a defective item, service was 10/10. Worth it! I’ll update only if there are issues with the replacement. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I was SO excited to finally buy this absolutely gorgeous drill. Got one use out of it (still would randomly turn off while using) and now wont work at all. I was skeptical because of some of the reviews having the same problem but decided to give this a try. Hopefully I can get a working one through lavinda. Im so sad. UPDATE: i was sent a exchange and the drill STILL DID NOT WORK. Do NOT waste your time or money on this drill. I know its beautiful but it is not operable. Spare yourself the frustration and disappointment and go with a tried and true brand thats trusted. ... show more

I purchased this nail file to replace my older e-file that was bulky and had to be plugged into the wall. This e-file showed up fully charged and ready to use. The rhinestones on the outside are adhered well and there is no sticky residue left on it. The battery lasts for about 4 or 5 full sets of nails and fills before I have to recharge it. When I do have to charge it, it charges quickly and is immediately ready for use. You can even use it while it is charging which is super convenient. Its light weight and compact, yet very powerful and easily out performs e-files I have owned in the past. I have had no issues with its performance at all. I love the fact that it has a screen and tells you the exact RPM. I couldn't recommend this file more! ... show more

I began my previous review: "The Lavinda Diamond 35000RPM Electric Nail File appears to be well made." That's true, it is! Next I wrote: "The glitzy exterior of the Lavinda Diamond 35000RPM Electric Nail File isn't my style, but that's OK. I'm eager to test the device on my gnarly toenails---they need treatment!" And I continued: (T)here was no way that I could insert any of the drilling, shaping, or grinding tools in the kit into the Lavinda Diamond 35000RPM Electric Nail File chuck! The previous review ended: "Please help so that I can de-gnarl my toenails and AMEND THIS EVALUATION. I suspect there is a glitch somewhere. I can't imagine that a device this well made is actually unusable!" I can now state that the product IS well made. IT WORKS, and my gnarly toe nails have been treated. The problem for me, and the reason this is a 4 star review and not a 5 star, is that the minimal instruction manual is insuficciently specific about how to release the chuck to insert a bit. Try "Turn clockwise toward the open hieroglyph, USING A DOWNWARD PRESSURE (and sufficient confidence that, if you get it right the chuck will open)." ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The nose on this is really quiet and it never leaves a fire burn! The charge holds on this for 10+hours. The max speed is 35 RPM and I never have to go past 4 or 5 ...sometimes 6 depending on the client. It lets me know if something is not plugged in correctly, the drill bits are easy to remove and place in, the grip is phenomenal and it gives you the option of fine edges or rounded edges! This drill is so top tier and perfect in every way...did i mention it was FREAKING CUTE!!!! Most def a must have. ... show more
