Stirrup buckle completely broke first time saddle was ridden on. Daughter had to return from ride with only one functioning stirrup. Disappointing!…And very dangerous!

This saddle is very comfortable to sit in, but I feel it may be unsafe to ride in. I really like the feel of the saddle and I love the reins. I have used it three times on rides of six miles or longer. Galloping, rivers, up and down slopes. My left stirrup strap kept detaching from the saddle, I almost fell off at a gallop. The first day it became detached 4 times, second day, 7 times, and third day (most challenging day) 11 times!! The stirrup adjustment buckle is in a terrible location, rubbing the inside of my leg constantly. Girth was way too small for my 950lb mare had to buy seperate. The saddle had too much side to side movement. I love that it is feather light, but I can't use it for riding. I couldnt find any reason for stirrup to detach, no broken parts, no worn parts. I adjusted the position from under the seat, still came off. Maybe duct tape will hold it. ... show more

It’s actually amazing. Absolutely incredibly lightweight, a good pad under it and it fit two separate horses really nicely, it HOLDS you in place, I’m used to slick English saddles or bigger western and never sat in a saddle like this one. It’s really good at giving confidence in your seat. It’s also really quality materials, I’ve rode almost 18 hours in mine so far and you’d never know, it’s holding up well so far. ... show more
