This nail dust collector has powerful suction to help eliminate airborne particles before they spread around the room. Though designed for spas it is effective for any close-up work that generates a lot of dust. It has a built in work light that can be made super bright for seeing details clearly. I need no additional lighting when I have this on full brightness. The brightness, as well as the temperature of the light is adjustable from bright white to warm, as needed. I use this for pedicures and also sanding various finely detailed projects where I want good visibility and dust reduction. The dust collector comes with 2 filters and they can be cleaned and reused so I always have one available as a backup. They include two different brush tools for cleaning between the pleats and it’s quite simple to do. I find it easy to work with and place the fan optimally for suctioning dust. The armature holds its position well and the fan head is mounted on a ball joint for a fine level of position tuning. It doesn’t move once I set it so I don’t have to fuss with it. While running there is fan noise, but it isn’t overly loud. I would compare it to a stove fan at the highest setting. The midpoint is usually sufficient for me for dust collection and it is not loud there at all. This dust collector can be set up anywhere one has access to a table to clamp it to. The clamp will fit any thickness up to 3” which suits all my needs. I find this dust collector works really well. Cuts down on particles in the air so I don’t have to breathe them in.
