We used a pair of these hinges on the door of a custom cabinet we built in our bathroom. The hinges fit perfectly into the pockets on the door, and I just eyeballed where to attach the ends in the cabinet. It turned out that I installed the inside part of the hinge just a little too far into the cabinet. No problem -- a half turn of one of the screws (on each hinge), and the door was in exactly the right spot. I like the good soft-close feature of these hinges, too. In addition to being easy to install, these Pobrico hinges just look and feel good. They are made from heavy metal, and the screw adjustments are easy to make and work predictably. I'm just a weekend warrior when it comes to doing woodwork and cabinetry around the house, but these Pobrico hinges made me look (just a little) like a professional. I know you are desperately waiting IKEA to restock the hinges, I know you are searching Amazon and hesitating to buy the over priced resale product. I know the inflation is high but I still want to get my small storage project done. I was in your shoes and I found one of the reviews mentioned this one is compatible to BESTA, and this is TRUE! (As of Nov. 2022) So I wrote this review to encourage you just buy one and give it a try. This product has very reasonable price when I bought and it works perfect!! I’m not sure if I installed them incorrectly but, my wife and I used three on a desk that she built and they didn’t seem soft close. They were easy to install but as I said, I’m not sure of their sturdiness because of the soft close feature.

I loved these, they are the perfect size and fit that aligned with the old broken ones. They open and close easier than the old ones that were there too. The old ones had like a hard open and close that would make a jerk or the cabinets slam and wear down and strip the old screw holes. These just glide open and closed which I think will just make things last longer so they won't have to be replaced anytime soon. ... show more

The Probrico soft-closing hinge is sturdy, a snap to install, and considerably cheaper than similar hinges sold at Lowe's and Home Depot and they work great for my cabinets.
