Great but wish the padding was thick, I shoulda looked into it more.

So it fits almost like a glove, my head or the helmet isn't the exact same shape so it has one spot on my forehead that it kinda is a tight fit and since the padding is super thin it's basically just a hard foam. I wanted the certified helmet but didn't realize the padding was so thin... high quality though. Idk if I should have got a size bigger, but because the padding is so thin I think the size bigger would be too loose.

The size for these is the same size you wear in a regular Pro-Tec helmet

Pro-Tec has always been the go-to with a skate or bmx helmet. I wear a medium in every other cut of Pro-Tec helmet, so I just assumed I would wear a medium in the full cut. I was right, this helmet fits great. It’s relatively comfortable, there is a little bit of getting used to the ear coverage but after a while you forget it’s even on. It’s a little less ventilated than the standard helmets they offer but I’m sure you could tell that just by looking at it. The one I got is the flat black one, and it has a smoother feel to it than previous flat black helmets I have had. It’s more of a “rubatone” finish, like it’s coated in.a soft rubber layer. All in all I would replace this helmet with the exact same model if it were lost or damaged.

Disappointing Fit and Downgraded Padding

I'm giving the Full Cut Certified Skateboard Helmet just 1 star—and that’s being generous. The newer design with updated padding is a major letdown. I tried two different sizes and neither fit properly. The fitment is just awkward and uncomfortable, even though I had always worn a Large in the older version without any issues. To make matters worse, the new padding feels thinner and less protective. The previous generation had noticeably thicker foam, which gave a much better sense of safety and support. This updated model feels like a step backward in both fit and function. In the end, I had to return both helmets because the sizing simply didn't work, and I wasn’t confident in the level of protection. Very disappointed—bring back the old style!
