Description

Overview: This is a pair of pre-mounted Trencher HP 2.8" Belted All Terrain Tires. Pro-Line is proud to introduce the History-making Trencher HP 2.8" BELTED All Terrain Truck Tires! Pro-Line has developed the technology to mold a High-Performance herringbone weave pattern Belt inside of the relentless, tall and grippy tread of the Trencher HP. These are not your average belted tires! Made for All Terrain bashing, the Trencher HP 2.8" tires will not balloon or expand during use and will still provide the incredible grip that you expect from Pro-Line tires due to the soft M2 compound. Just like all Pro- Line's tires, they are proudly Made in the USA! Just like the original Trencher 2.8" tire, the next generation Trencher HP 2.8" is destined to become the ultimate, go-to Bash tire for your truck! Please note that the Trencher HP tires are not meant to be extreme speed run tires and have achieved up to 75 mph or about 5,000 RPM under ideal conditions in testing. Over revving your Trencher HP tires could result in breaking the internal belt, which will NOT be covered under warranty. This can be caused by "diffing out" your tires or holding the throttle open while one, two or three of your tires are stopped, which substantially increases the RPM sent to the free-spinning tire or tires. The Belted Trencher HP 2.8" tires come Pre-Mounted on the next generation 2.8" wheel design from Pro-Line, the Raid 2.8" Removable Hex Wheel! Imagine being able to easily change the offset of your wheel to fit different applications by simply changing out the hex! You can go from the included 12mm narrow offset (2wd Stampede®/Rustler® Rear) to the included 12mm wide offset hexes (2wd Stampede®/Rustler® Front and 4x4 Stampede®/Rustler® Front and Rear) quickly and easily

  • Great combo
Awesome looking wheels and belted so tires don't balloon and maintain large contact patch!

  • Be Careful
Be careful when buying these if you are looking to put them on a 10th scale rc with 17mm hex. they dont fit. There are only adapters for 12mm. Still good tires but they dont work on the vehicle i bought them for (Redcat Valkyrie)

  • Amazing tires
Awesome tires, I can't stress it enough. They grip very well, but the extra weight and size would restrict this to a heavily upgraded truck. Which if you're looking at belted tires is generally the idea. These are on a 4s 2wd Rustler on a Castle 1415 motor and Hobbywing 120a ESC

  • Great out in the dirt
Come big have em on my slash ordered the matching front also. Will buy 2 more rear sets for my revo short course build. Yes they are heavy but not to bad imo

  • Great for Rustler 4x4
They fit awesome on my Rustler 4x4, they do weigh a lot compared to the stock tires. Thus far that hasn't been a problem. But I've only driven around the street a bit so far and jumped a speed bump, I do expect that the plastic drive shafts might not last long with them. The lack of ballooning makes them awesome at high speed runs down the street with a 3S and 4kV motor running 17t and 54t. ... show more

  • Belted Trenchers. They don't balloon at all. A bit heavy though.
Put these 2.8" belted Trenchers on my heavily modified Traxxas Slash 2wd VXL running a 3 cell lipo. These replaced a set of completely worn out set of Proline 2.8" Mashers with Badland wheels. The Proline Mashers lasted about 4 years. Stock traxxas tires were destroyed within days. The Mashers would balloon into pizza cutters at high speeds/rpm (also added extra speed as they got larger) but lost traction. Mashers were an excellent off road tire. Sand and snow were epic. I do like how these belted Trenchers don't balloon. No stretch. The wheels are awesome. I like how I can change out a stripped hex without buying a new tires and wheels. These wheels are very heavy though. I upgraded the driveshafts to help (the steering servo and bell crank might need upgrades as well. Time will tell). Excellent traction on take off since they don't balloon/stretch. I had to adjust the slipper clutch to compensate. I can update durability with time. Hopefully, they last as long as my Mashers. They are showing a little bit of wear (rear wheels) after a few runs on asphalt. These were very expensive and I will update after some time if these are a good value for money. ... show more

  • On my rustler 2wd
Lot bigger than expected but they work great

  • If you have a 4x4 Rustler VXL, get them!
I blew out two of my stock Rustler tires and figured I'd try something belted to avoid that again. I really love these Trenchers. The car looks more aggressive and handles a bit better because they are so much wider than stock. They are pretty heavy and taller than stock tires so you definitely need to gear down. I also found the car to be more responsive after upgrading the servo but the stock one is acceptable, just a bit sluggish. ... show more
