  • Perfect upgrade from a GTX 1080
Style: Dual Fans Size: RTX4070
I debated for a long time on upgrading my GTX 1080. Whether to get a 3070 or 4070 and ultimately landed on the 4070 due to it being more recent and having higher memory, 12GB. It is 100% worth the price and is amazing at gaming. Currently use it for 1080p gaming and the temperature never exceeds 55c. Am able to play God of War at a stable 120 FPS and the card is barely hot at all, low 50s. Hooked my computer up to my familys 4K TV and was able to play Cyberpunk 2077, God of War, and Spiderman Remasterd at a solid 60 FPS the whole time. The card also never went over 60c when playing at 4K and God of War looked beautiful. The new card is allowing me to go back and play all the games I love, to enjoy them even more, seeing more fine details in the graphics that my previous GTX 1080 was stuggling at. The card tempartures are incredible, better then my GTX 1080. The sound from the fans are normal, slightly better than the other GTX 1080 I gave to my brother, belive it was an ASUS as well. If you are like me and debate for a long time on what card to pick, brand, and series, this ASUS 4070 OC is amazing, and I am the type of guy who never upgraded past the GTX 1080. This brand of 4070 is amazing. Dont overthink it, just do it! Won't regret it! ... show more

  • Efficient little powerhouse! Efficient little powerhouse!
Style: Dual Fans Size: RTX4070
Pros: -It's not huge, so I didn't have to worry about it fitting in my case. -Amazing performance per watt. Probably the best performing new GPU I could buy without needing to upgrade my 650w PSU -Only one 8-pin PCIe cable required. -DLSS3/Frame Gen is definitely awesome to have and should help extend the life of the card. -Better performance in raytraced games and AI related tasks like Stable Diffusion compared to AMD. -Better performance in 3D applications like Blender compared to AMD. -Cool and quiet. Peaks at like 65c while gaming and the fans never get loud enough to bother me. I haven't noticed any coil whine either. -AV1 encoding -Metal backplate. -Looks nice. Cons: -It's not cheap. But I wouldn't say it's a terrible value either. Especially when considering the great power efficiency; It could save you a decent amount of money in electricity costs in the long run vs. some of it's current competitors. Overall, I'm quite happy with this GPU. It renders all of my games at 1440p ultra very efficiently with high FPS. However, I can't say I'd recommend it if you're using a card from the previous generation (RTX 3070 or RX 6700xt etc.) Too much cost for too little gain. But if you're on something older, like a RTX 2070 or an rx 5700xt...I think it's absolutely a solid buy. ... show more

  • A great card at a fair price.
Style: Dual Fans Size: RTX4070
Upgraded from a 1660 to this card and I am blown away with the 1440p performance and quality. With the new features the come with the rtx 4000 series cards it makes having one totally worth. Card runs in the mid 50's during heavy load. So, it stays pretty cool without water cooling. Runs all the games I play in high or ultra at 1440p with high frame rates(80+). Very easy a on the power draw as well for being a 1440p card. With the super series coming out in the near future it will be hard for me to recommend this card at this price point. Either way the 4070 is a solid card and is just what you need for high res, high framerate gaming without paying over 1k for a 4080 or higher. ... show more

  • Great performance at an affordable price
Style: Dual Fans Size: RTX4070
Couldn't be happier with this thing. Full disclosure: I spent the last 3 years with a Gigabyte 2080 Super in my machine that I'm pretty certain was a complete lemon from the start. It had a very loud coil whine while under load and performed under average for a 2080 Super on 3DMark benchmarks. None of that was grounds for a RMA according to Gigabyte (and I'll never buy from them again). It eventually started black screening 2 months after the warranty expired. Anyways - this ASUS GeForce RTX 4070 OC is its replacement, and I couldn't be happier. It more than doubled my performance on 3DMark stress tests (again - take with a grain of salt. My 2080 Super was trash) and runs dead quiet and maxes out around 60C even when under load rendering as many frames as it can. Absolutely thrilled with the performance gain and the price/value ratio of this card. GCs are overpriced in general and that's no secret, but given the current situation, I think this card is insanely good for its $599 MSRP. ... show more

  • Good GPU but not perfect
Style: Dual Fans Size: RTX4070
Finally upgraded my antiquated GTX 770 to this and it is a huge difference. Runs cool and pushes a 3440x1440 monitor with no problem. I have been able to some pretty impressive overclocking results. Currently running stable at +195 MHz on the core clock and +1200 MHz on the memory clock, but I have been able to pass 3D Mark benchmarks at +270 MHz and +1800 MHz but it is very unstable at these speeds and it was luck of the draw actually completing the benchmark without crashing. Unfortunately there might be some issues with the power draw on these particular ASUS 4070 cards. From what I have read these should be able to pull over 215 watts by upping the power limit in OC tools like MSI Afterburner. Upping the wattage should allow for further overclocking, but this card seems to be limited to 200 watts as I have confirmed with my card. I am uncertain if this is a hardware, bios, or other limitation. Hopefully this is an issue that can be resolved with some sort of software update from ASUS. It would be unfortunate if the thermal headroom this cool-running card provides could not be utilized with further overclocking. If you do not plan on overclocking your card this should not be much concern to you. ... show more

  • BEAST GPU BEAST GPU
Style: Dual Fans Size: RTX4070
Upgrading from a 1070TI to this has quite literally been a night and day difference. Couldn’t be more happier with the performance and aesthetic of this card. DLSS + Frame Generation + the raw power of this beast makes for an amazing experience for comfortable high refresh rate 1440P gaming even at 4K (which i don’t play at). I’ve had a blast playing all my previous games that once stuttered a lot and had performance issues. The fact that the TDP of this card is 200W is crazy power efficient! I have yet to find a title where it struggles on the highest settings at 1440p. Really happy with my purchase. Safe to say I won’t be upgrading for a while. :) I know some people are worried about the 12GB of VRAM and while yes having more will future proof your system for more demanding titles in the future. I’ve had no issues whatsoever running any application and is plenty for today’s titles. If you only play esport titles then you haven something less to worry about, you’ll run everything at 300+ FPS. happy gaming :D ... show more

  • Only slightly bigger than a 4060Ti but way more powerful! Only slightly bigger than a 4060Ti but way more powerful!
Style: Dual Fans Size: RTX4070
I had originally had a ASUS Dual 4060 Ti due to my PC Case constraints but then realized the ASUS 4070 Dual had very similar dimensions and still only required 1x 8-Pin power despite the power bump from 160W to 200W The 4070 just barely fit like a glove in my case! You can see in my pictures the comparison between the two, dimensions are very similar although the 4070 is only slightly longer and taller. The 4070 OC is an absolute monster and it has absolutely been taking advantage of the extra VRAM (12gb VS 8gb) because I play in 4k. People say that this isn't a 4k card and I disagree, I've been playing everything in 4K. Worst case scenario you just turn on DLSS or lower some settings but it's definitely a 4k capable card and I absolutely love it! The 4070 is about 35% faster than the 4060 Ti and it was definitely noticeable where the 4060 struggled the 4070 doesn't break a sweat! If you're thinking about upgrading go for it! ... show more

  • great price great card
Style: Dual Fans Size: RTX4070
This a great alternative card thiat doesn't require a 16 pin power connection like most NVIDIA crads, and it a single 9 pin power connector.
