AMAZING product! It is durable, comfortable, versatile and hands down the best mechanics creeper I've ever seen or owned! Usually when a product is "foldable" with dual uses, the product falls short on both uses compared to a similar item that only has one function. Well NOT this one! The creeper is highly durable, comfortable it rolls soooooo smoothly on the best creeper wheels I've ever seen. Compared to the one this replaced, this one makes the old one look like a cheap kids toy. If that isn't enough, the seat is highly useful and comfortable and sturdy! My husband is 6'5" and this was a godsend to him when doing the brakes or anything which usually required crouching down on the ground! The seat is generously padded, high enough to be comfortable even to someone with a very large frame and long legs, VERY sturdy and stable and it rolled with ease on those amazing wheels! In this age of making things out of cheaper and cheaper materials, and using unskilled labor that takes no pride in what they produce, this is a wonderful throwback to a time when things were made to last with pride in workmanship. IF I had to find anything negative about this the only thing I can think of is that due to the large wheels and generously thick padding and headrest, IF your clearance is tight under your vehicle you might be better off with a lower profile creeper. This isn't really a negative, but just something to keep in mind. Oh...and the only other negative is that its now $13 less than I paid for it LOL But honestly..it was worth every penny I paid and then some! ... show more

I have an injured leg, and getting down to do maintenance on my tractor and rider mower was really difficult. My wife suggested getting one of those "creepy things" mechanics use. I thought that sounded like a good idea. So I looked around Amazon and spotted this one. What caught my eye first was that it folds into a stool configuration as well as being a flat creeper. The second thing that caught my eye was that it is rated for 450 pounds. I don't weight that much, but I'm a pretty big guy. Believe me, it is sturdy! I use it mostly in the stool mode, and I love it. I can flop down on it without worrying about damaging it. It has very good roller and scoots around easily, even over debris. My husband had been looking for one of these but so many aren’t rated to support over 200 or 250lbs. He is tall and strong, resulting in having a higher weight on the scale. This one was rated for higher weight capacity so we gave it a go. It has worked wonderfully for him at his low weight and high weights and he’s never expressed feeling concerned about its sturdiness and ability to support him. He said it’s comfortable and moves well and also converts for him to use various ways. So far he’s been nothing but happy with it, and happy that his back isn’t hurting him and that he’s no longer having to crawl/shimmy under the rigs. ... show more

    • Sturdy is what I wanted and sturdy is what I got

I'm a stout fellow at 250lbs and didn't want something that was going to be flimsy. It's going to be in the stool position a majority of the time and I wanted something sturdy that would be solid when I moved around in any direction. This stool delivered on sturdiness. In the creeper position it also excelled and was pivotal in allowing me to work under my RV trailer. The belly of the RV is at a level this is great for travel but awkward to kneel under to do work. Laying on the ground didn't work as I couldn't reach the RV belly. At some point I will need to change out a holding tank valve and this creeper is going to make that so much easier. Some have stated that due to the heavy duty construction of this stool/creeper and larger wheels put it higher than other. For me this was a bonus. That extra height actually works even better for working under the RV for me. If I need to work on my Subaru or GMC 3500HD I'm going to have to jack them up on jack stands or ramps anyway.
