Got this after playing pickleball for a few months and wanted to get something better than the basic and cheap set I first started out with. This is good for beginners based on having a bigger “sweet spot”, but I felt like it lost some pop after using for a few months. I’ve been using a different paddle for a while now and noticed a big difference with my power and control of the ball, but my skills have also improved so it’s hard to say how much had to do with the actual paddle. I’d say this is worth the cost if on sale for under $50.

Basic beginner paddle. Medium grip, smaller sweet spot. Good comfortable handle. Not much pop for harder drives, so so control. I put some weighted tape on it to try to improve control with little help.

I grabbed this to test out and see if it's something that I wanted to keep and play the game with. I've been playing just a few months at this point and have began looking for the paddles I want to progress farther with, I was feeling like my starter sets had suddenly became obsolete, I'm wanting to learn to really spin and control that ball. Our starter set paddles just weren't doing that. When I first received and opened the box I was pretty pleased with the quality of packaging. Reality is all paddles should be shipped like these are. The packaging on all but one paddle was the same so I figure this is the standard box and protection. It's very nice. I also have received 3 other paddles of different makes and models with another 2 coming shortly, so I at minimum can get experience with many different paddles to determine what I do and do not like about each one. I have tried a couple very high end paddles at the court and we shall see how these stack up. I love that it comes with a protective cover, the cover fits great and will do a great job protecting the paddle. The handle is comfortable and the paddle feels well balanced. In play this paddle has a very nice sweet spot, excellent spin and outstanding pop. While playing as a single against my daughters playing as doubles I found that this paddle shined, This was the paddle that I wish all the other paddles was. This is an amazing performer for the price point. I really was impressed with the spin I could generate and the things I could get the ball to do. The extra pop helped me push those back court shots back across the net, and it had plenty of control to attack at the net. This paddle is great fun. After a couple hours use this paddle is hardly showing any sign of wear at all. It still looks very new Pros - very affordable, excellent control and spin, outstanding pop, nice cover, comfortable grip, gets lots of comments. I found nothing to dislike about this paddle at all. Cons - Really none, it seems to check all the boxes at the moment. You will be very pleased with this paddle if you purchase it. Of all the paddles so far this is certainly the top. It wasn't outperformed by any paddle I've played with so far and that includes some very high end paddles.
