Really nice quality; looks and material. The only problem was the stickers left a mark which doesn't look and feel good (don't bother removing the stickers). If you are looking for something small to just collect a few cards then this is great! If you are collecting a large set (I use it for Yugioh) then maybe get a 3 ring binder and some page sleeves for roughly the same price and will hold more.     • A no frills portfolio option

The Ultra Pro Collectors Album is a no frills portfolio for TCG and CCG collectors (Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon, baseball cards). It's basically a black, embossed plastic cover with firm cardboard underneath. When fully loaded, it feels sturdy and has a slim profile. In the interior, standard Ultra Pro top-loading binder sheets are glued into to the binding on the inside. PLEASE NOTE that this is NOT a three-ring binder and you do not need to buy packs of loose binder pages to install yourself. Of course, that means if you accidentally tear a card pocket or stretch them out by stuffing them full with multiple copies of a card, you can't replace the sheets with new ones. Unlike many Ultra Pro binders, the plastic covers didn't appear to have any defects or air bubbling under the surface. I should note that the first half of the binder pages are loaded from the front, while the last half will need to be loaded from the back. Not sure why they didn't just have all the sheets face the same way. It holds 180 cards, two in each pocket (one facing front, one facing back), but I comfortably put four cards in each pocket without too much stretching. UltraPro makes excellent quality binder sheets. It will hold one double-sleeved card in each pocket, but be careful taking them in and out to avoid getting the sleeve corners snagged on the sides of the pockets. And you cut capacity to just 90 cards if you intend to put sleeved cards in these pages. This style of "collectors album" is a holdover from the earliest days of MTG/CCG binders. Now, with so many higher quality options on the market, including many different budget portfolios from UltraPro, it would be hard to recommend this. Just buy a nice Wilson Jones D-ring binder and pick up some UltraPro loose binder pages. You will spend about the same money and be able to store many more cards. If, however, you are looking for a small hardcover portfolio for special rares or cards of value, go with the Legion Dragon Hide 9-pocket portfolio. I bought this album simply for nostalgic reasons. I like this binder. It’s cheap and efficient at storing cards. I’ve only ordered one before but decided to order two more to store more of my cards. Unfortunately one of the binders was clearly handled poorly by whoever picked this order. The front page is creased down the middle to the point that it can’t be fixed. I can either choose to cut the page out or return it which is a hassle either way. Really unfortunate and I’m probably not going to buy another because this is just annoying. ... show more
