I was nervous about buying this pole because I read so many negative reviews saying the metal was super bad quality, and how it would immediately fall apart once built. The metal is super sturdy, my husband was hitting it into place with a rubber mallet and not even a dent or scratch! Make sure you actually read the instructions they are confusing so read them thoroughly. The only reason it would fall apart is 1 you didn’t tighten it enough, 2 you built it wrong, 3 you screwed the top part on wrong af. I’m 130ish pounds and it supports my weight no problemo! If you’re looking to start pole dancing this is definitely a good bang for your buck it’s sturdy quality and easily fit into our 8ft ceiling. If you’re wanting to get into pole dancing do it!! The media could not be loaded. This sucks. I bought this for my new place. I bought this and saved it till I was ready to install. Upon installation the complete measurement does not extend to 9ft and tighten properly. I had to buy and install a 1 inch wood block to fill space. The pole is tightened as much as possible and still does not stay in place NOT SAFE and they said it’s too late to return AND they do not make more PINK parts. It’s unfair I spent 180 on this and it’s not as advertised. Poor product ... show more

It isn’t true to size the catch is you will more than likely have to buy an additional adapter piece. But other than that it is beautiful. It’s hard to understand the instructions it would be nice to have a video code to scan.
