This is a very nice-looking, high-quality set. A few reviewers online have complained that the shaker it doesn't seal well - this happened to me as well, but a slight modification fixed the problem and now it seals perfectly. The outer rim of the small tumbler is fairly sharp out of the box. When you jam the two tumblers together, this edge bites into the inside surface of the larger tumbler, preventing it from going in very far and creating a good seal. I rounded over this edge with some very fine sandpaper (220 grit) and now the tumblers fit together tightly and seal well. ... show more

Have spend hundreds of dollars to maintain eye-popping sets, I thought this would compliment my all black, all gold, and rainbow shakers that I alternate between. Unfortunately this is the only one that I can't make a cocktail with, without spilling it everywhere. I was skeptical with the tempered material. I tried marrying the two pieces hard. You will not get a consistent seal. This should have been common sense before I bought, but you WILL NOT GET A SEAL. It's hammered. You can not shake a cocktail without a seal. Anybody that has reviewed this product positively has either not shaken a drink (and expects a third of it to end up on them), or was involved in a wedding registry. ... show more

Everything was great except the shaker cups do not creat a great suctions or seal no matter how hard you try to hit them together or how you hold them. They leak or fall apart easily.
