These curtains look absolutely stunning in my living room. I got the brown and they look luxurious and add a sophisticated yet warm and cozy look to the space when drawn. I would say that they are not at all blackout if that's what you're looking for. I have them layered over semi sheer linen drapes. When the sun is shining even with semi sheer linen drapes behind them, the velvet drapes definitely "glow" with the sun shining through, which doesn't look great if you want to keep them drawn in the day. They lose their solid look as the light shines through. I keep them open during the day and use semi sheer linen drapes that are layered behind them for privacy and light filtering. ... show more

These velvet curtains have a beautiful aesthetic and are crafted from quality fabric. The Champagne color matches perfectly with my furniture, bedding, and light grey always and adds an elegant touch to the space. However, while the curtains are beautiful, their functionality falls short. For my 95" wide sliding glass door, these panels barely span the window's width. Despite the thick fabric, they don't block out light, contrary to the 'blackout' claim. Their narrower width also means there isn't enough fabric to create the desired light blockage by overlapping the window and wall. Labeling them as blackout curtains seems like an overstatement, given their inability to achieve blackout on their own. I would have to purchase another set for complete light blockage. ... show more

These curtains are more khaki or tan color than anything, they are not truly champagne. However, the quality is great. A velvet material, thick and beautiful. shipping and delivery was also great. I ordered at 9 PM last night and it arrived today by 7pm. Will definitely be ordering the black ones for a different room. ... show more
