Definitely look more expensive looking than the price. The gold is velvet have a rich look. True gold. Not that yellow gold. I order these for my living room. They feel soft and luxurious. They just leave a pinch of light . They and thick. I'm think ordering some more in a different color.

I purchased the 120” length in gold 2. The color is perfect. The material is fairly heavy. The photos with the curtain closed were taken on a bright day. They are not blackout curtains but they do a good job limiting the light. The sewing seems well done and the material seems to be of good quality. I adore these curtains. They’re velvety and soft. The cream/ivory colored curtains — which are the ones I ordered — are a true cream color. They blend very well with slightly darker and lighter shades of cream. I would not call them “heavy,” but they are substantial enough for my needs. I think the quality is pretty darn good considering the price of the curtains. That said, if you’re in search of blackout curtains, keep looking. These are definitely NOT blackout curtains. I can’t speak to how well darker colored curtains keep the light out, but the cream colored curtains I ordered most certainly do not block anywhere near enough light to be considered “blackout.” See the picture I posted which shows the way the curtains look on two windows during the day. I have sheers behind them and it’s pretty clear that light manages to come through the curtains nonetheless. That’s fine for me, as I am using them in a formal sitting/living room and do not need blackout. I tried them in my bedroom where I do need blackout, however, and that did not work out. I should note that if you’re looking for blackout curtains, Primrose sells very nice blackout curtains on Amazon, but these curtains are not the ones. I am so happy with my purchase of the 96” Gold 2 velvet curtains! For visual purposes, my ceilings are 8’, so this left the perfect amount for a small puddle at the floor. The curtains are heavy, but not too heavy, and have a really nice, soft quality feel.
