Definitely look more expensive looking than the price. The gold is velvet have a rich look. True gold. Not that yellow gold. I order these for my living room. They feel soft and luxurious. They just leave a pinch of light . They and thick. I'm think ordering some more in a different color.

I love the texture, the look and feel. It blocks out the sun well. Definitely worth the value. A nice gold color not an overwhelming tacky gold color.

I adore these curtains. They’re velvety and soft. The cream/ivory colored curtains — which are the ones I ordered — are a true cream color. They blend very well with slightly darker and lighter shades of cream. I would not call them “heavy,” but they are substantial enough for my needs. I think the quality is pretty darn good considering the price of the curtains. That said, if you’re in search of blackout curtains, keep looking. These are definitely NOT blackout curtains. I can’t speak to how well darker colored curtains keep the light out, but the cream colored curtains I ordered most certainly do not block anywhere near enough light to be considered “blackout.” See the picture I posted which shows the way the curtains look on two windows during the day. I have sheers behind them and it’s pretty clear that light manages to come through the curtains nonetheless. That’s fine for me, as I am using them in a formal sitting/living room and do not need blackout. I tried them in my bedroom where I do need blackout, however, and that did not work out. I should note that if you’re looking for blackout curtains, Primrose sells very nice blackout curtains on Amazon, but these curtains are not the ones. So, beautiful, quality curtains at a good price; just not a blackout curtain. ... show more

At first I was hesitant on getting fuchsia or hot pink curtains because they're usually too bright but these are just right. The show like a dark fuchsia winish color in the picture and that's exactly what you get and they're beautiful they're velvet and they go well with my pink acrylic furniture and my area rug so I highly recommend these curtains nice quality ... show more
