I really enjoy the soft touch of these curtains as well as the shiny appearance which only adds further to that soft, luxurious velvet look. They also tend to change color depending on lighting conditions which I thought was pretty cool. The color I have here is stone gray blue and I really love it a lot. These curtains do a pretty good job at blocking light but are by no means blackout curtains. This is great for me though as I prefer some light coming through. The curtains did look somewhat wrinkly when first unboxing but with a basic wash and dry, it improved quite a bit. To me, at least in person, it has lost a lot of wrinkles overtime. As a word of caution, if you really want to prevent light leaking from the bottom, then it is ideal to get a size that is a few inches taller than your window. Additionally, if it's windy, the taller size will prevent the bottom of the curtains from getting stuck out the window, or stuck in the window net/screen if you have that. Additionally if you don't want light leaking from the sides as much, than warped curtain rods are ideal. The curve from the warped rods make the velvet look appear even nicer in my opinion. But either way, regardless of rods, these are very beautiful and luxurious looking curtains and I would strongly recommend.

These are very soft and drape well. The back tabs are proper tabs, not that skimpy thread mess that so many cheap curtains on this site seem to have. These are not actually blackout - that was perfect for me as I chose them in part because they were lined but I actually wanted a bit of light to come through. But as these are advertised as blackout curtains, be aware that they definitely are not, if that is what you need. The cream/ivory color is as expected, and the length is true. I'm happy with my purchase and I'd definitely buy these again.

I'm really happy with these curtains! I bought them to replace a pair from West Elm that got lost when we moved. They aren't identical, these are softer and shinier. But they're maybe 1/4 of the price at most, don't look cheap, and can go in the washer. If you look closely at my last couple pics, you can see where my dogs got mud on the bottoms. I'll update this if there are any issues washing them. The ivory color is a true ivory. I bought Roman shades in ivory, hoping they'd match, but they're much darker, almost like khaki. Oh and as for light blocking, I have them on a north facing window that doesn't get a ton of light. But they definitely keep the room dark.

Note: these pictures were taken about 4 days apart, around the same time of day. I live in the very hot coastal southeast, so this room gets morning-mid afternoon light, and has been tinted, has a pull-down light-filtering waffle shade, and 2.5” blinds that are closed.

These curtains are pretty and feel like nice quality. Velvety cream drapes.. however they are NOT blackout curtains by any means. So that’s misleading which is why they get only three stars. I’m very sensitive to light when I sleep so I got these to be able to block out the light. Are pretty for living room or another room where light isn’t a concern.
