It made the room look even bigger when it’s already LARGE LIVING ROOM SPACE! The curtains are soft and smooth. Yet it has a slight silky shine to them. Doesn’t feel like silk but it’s the look that it’s giving. The color is soooo beautiful it reminds me of a pearl or light cream champagne color! I have had these now for almost 2 years. I love them. They have not faded from the sun. The color is as pictured. The quality is good. They look very nice hanging up and not cheap. Once I hung them and steamed them the wrinkles came out very easily and they have stayed looking crisp and fresh. They go perfectly in my room brightens up the walls and gives it a nice soft luxury look. I hung them closer to the ceiling to make the room seem bigger and more texture to the wall space I have them hanging in. Once I opened them I easily slid them on the rod and up they went easily.

The media could not be loaded. Light blocking but not blackout. I didn’t want blackout though so it works great for me. These are HEAVY once up. My window needed two sets (it’s 73” wide on the inside and I extended the wraparound rod 2” past this measurement (we don’t have trim around the window)). I chose simple and poorly reviewed wraparound curtains before I decided on these but I’m still happy with the look. I like my curtains to have at least double fullness and not spread straight across the window and since this is our bedroom and can be seen partially from the street we’re not using sheers behind them. Hence the need for a good amount of fullness. Also this window is North West facing so the sun that hits from this side is the sunset. Now the gold color is not like what’s in the picture. It does have a shimmery gleam to it but it’s definitely not true velvet. More of a microfiber softness. But don’t let that deter you. These are very well made. The slots on the back to hang them are spaced evenly and made from the same thick fabric as the curtains and stitched in very well. The color is warm, but it’s not orange or yellow. It’s a beautiful warm gold. It goes well with our deep blue walls and the wood trim in our room (which is a range of cherry, walnut, and rubber wood). I’d recommend these over and over again. I’m ordering two more sets for my other two bedroom walls. And I’ll probably order the champagne color for the living room but one set for each large window as those have white sheets. I’m just so please with the color, the drape, the weight, everything. They’re much lovelier in person!

The quality of these is insane, they look so expensive and luxurious, had so many compliments! They take water spills really well too! The brown shade is lovely. They also have really great light blocking, very easy to install. I’m sure they’ll last me a good while! Update: second photo is a different color, obsessed with how luxurious these curtains look, will be ordering more in the future!

I love the color of these curtains, their texture, and that they are machine washable. They block a lot of light, but are not 100% blackout. I took off one star because they have creases in them that I can't seem to get out, even after washing, drying, and ironing on a low setting. If those creases from being folded in their packaging could come out, I would give these five stars.

I really enjoy the soft touch of these curtains as well as the shiny appearance which only adds further to that soft, luxurious velvet look. They also tend to change color depending on lighting conditions which I thought was pretty cool. The color I have here is stone gray blue and I really love it a lot. These curtains do a pretty good job at blocking light but are by no means blackout curtains. This is great for me though as I prefer some light coming through. The curtains did look somewhat wrinkly when first unboxing but with a basic wash and dry, it improved quite a bit. To me, at least in person, it has lost a lot of wrinkles overtime. As a word of caution, if you really want to prevent light leaking from the bottom, then it is ideal to get a size that is a few inches taller than your window. Additionally, if it's windy, the taller size will prevent the bottom of the curtains from getting stuck out the window, or stuck in the window net/screen if you have that. Additionally if you don't want light leaking from the sides as much, than warped curtain rods are ideal. The curve from the warped rods make the velvet look appear even nicer in my opinion. But either way, regardless of rods, these are very beautiful and luxurious looking curtains and I would strongly recommend.

Love the curtains, the look and feel are great. However, I need 4 sets of these and the brown color varies, just like other people have mentioned. Sucks having to return and reorder these, not knowing if you’re going to right color next time.
